Something I can agree with 0’ on.
I think that Cruz is only partially right here. Obama wants Immigration reform to pass, but he wouldn’t mind having it as a contested issue in the mid-terms to motivate higher base turnout. Obama knows his agenda will be derailed if typical voting patterns hold and the dem base does not put down their bong pipes, stopping drinking their 40s, and stop trying to be baby daddies long enough to vote a couple of times in the mid-terms.
Good
Let it fail.
Rubio is pushing it on FaceBook and I just got 15 immediate likes for my quick comment: STOP! NO Amnesty! NO 880 page reforms, that don’t even address anchor babies!
Cruz is correct, kindof, the Rats would be very happy with 20 million new people on the Rat plantation, but there are also very happy with the current situation. Open borders, welfare state and voter fraud works for them.
Probably not the only thing. If the immigration bill is passed then Obbie and the Dems are in the hole for 200 years. Cruz stating the obvious. If you doubt him raise the Rubio flag around here and watch the Hillary and Coumo bots come out of the woodwork followed closely by the Paulinista’s.
Maybe Rubio is doing same thing but wants cred with Latino voters in ‘16.
O may be pushing citizenship for illegal aliens for a far more personal reason that that....
I agree with Cruz. Like Alinsky, become your friend; then stab you.
If this craziness passes Congress, the Dems get a huge winfall in millions of eventual Demo voters. Hence a win win.
“It’s possible that that’s true.Rush claims that OsamaObama wanted gun control to fail *in the House* so that voters would punish GOP candidates in 14.”
EXACTLY. The Senate bill was DOA in the House. Not even close. Pelosi would have been lucky to get 60% of her caucus to support it.
EVERYONE knew that. So why such a strong and emotional push in the Senate, if it was doomed from the start?
You stated the answer.
