Cajones: TN Senator Refuses To Back Off Pressure Cooker Joke
Freedom Outpost ^ | Apr. 25, 2013 | Tim Brown

Republican Tennessee State Senator Stacey Campfield posted a photo of a pressure cooker with the words “Assault Pressure Cooker” listed below it on his blog, titled “Here comes Feinstein Again, “in the wake of the Boston bombing to make a point about the double standard of gun grabbers in this country. The hue and cry and lynch mob began to berate him, but he’s not backing down.

According to the photo Campfield used of a pressure cooker, he labeled the “dangerous” features of the inanimate object, including a “muzzle break thingy that goes ‘up’” and a “tactical pistol grip.”

Additionally, Campfield referenced that the pressure cooker had a “forward carry handle” and a “folding stock,” along with a “tactical latch.”

The photo also lists a “large-capacity, can cook for hours without reloading” comment and that the color of it was “evil, black.”

I remember the rattling, hissing, clattering noise my Mom’s PC made when she was cooking in it - the little steel weight dancing around on the steam vent spigot on the lid.

We haven’t used one in over 40 years.

If a grain of rice or something got stuck in the spigot and the lead safety plug didn’t let go in time (which would scare the hades out of us and shoot a hole in the kitchen ceiling when it did) those things could blow your kitchen - and anyone hanging around the stove - up pretty good.

Scary thing is, many common items can be used as containments for IEDs. Stuff that could be left in plain sight and no one would give a second thought to. Most of it commonly available, or even scroungable from a dump or junk yard.

Evil people will always find something to hurt others with - prisons being an ideal example of the most restrictive, controlled environments where lethal weapons and drugs commonly show up.

He's making the antigun left look silly.
People on the left have NO sense of humor and are horrified at anyone who says anything humorous because they know that most humor is at someone else's expense therefore all humor is evil and humorous people are evil and should be banned or at least re-educated.

Yes. My philosophy on this is that most things have a duality to their nature.

An axe can be used to chop firewood to keep a family alive in freezing weather, or it can be used to murder someone.

A hammer can build a beautiful table, but can also destroy someone’s skull.

As such, we should spend more effort focusing on the hand that wields the axe or the hammer, and less on the axe or the hammer itself.

Common sense to you and I, but there exists a large body of people who don’t see it this way. In their view “If that person did not have the axe in his hand, he wouldn’t have committed murder.”

Some congressman has already called for sales of BBs and ball bearings to be mandatorily reported to Homeland Security.

Humor is PCI and Republicans are just as sensitive to PC concerns as are Democrats.

Is that the AK-47 pressure cooker or the Glock pressure cooker?

“The APC-1 Cooker, Pressure, Assault, 230mm, is a non-belt-fed, air-or-water cooled, gas-operated, fully automatic assault pressure cooker that operates from the closed lid configuration.

“DO NOT remove their weighted thingy on the top in order to look down the tube when the APC-1 is in operation.

“DO NOT attempt to remove the lid on the APC-1 while it is in operation.

“DO NOT add ball bearings and/or high explosives to the APC-1, as this will void its warranty.

KNS sure would like him gone wouldn't they? LOL I long for the days when Knoxville had two daily newspapers. I long for the days back when Cagle was the KNS Editor.

No doubt. I stopped my KNS subscription a few years ago and I told them I would never subscribe again as long as Jack McElroy was the editor. I think the only thing he hates as much as Stacey Campfield is the 2nd amendment.

I post in there. Everytime they post about a Republican I put in a sarcastic remark like “but what about their dog”. They went after another GOP lawmaker too and ran her off Hurley I think was her name much the same way they are doing Campfield. They ran a huge story about her taking a dog into a county court house as if it were crimes against the state. McElroy is a Denver area Liberal.

They have some true nut-jobs that post on knoxnews. I realize, ‘Oh, crap. These might be my neigbors.’ I doubt they are close neighbors, because apparently they don’t have jobs, but I still could pass them on the road. That is scary enough.
