It's not like we haven't been warned and it's not like we don't have The Way to clean up this mess we've made for ourselves. It's always available, just waiting for us.
But our true sin is that we turned away. We turned our backs on the One who has given all and shown not gratitude but arrogance and defiance.
It's not too late now to pray for The Way out of the hole we are digging. May God have mercy on us all.
