They filed charges. Charges are followed by a preliminary arraignment. The magistrate reads a colloquy that includes informing the defendant of his rights to legal representation, bail and to remain silent. It is pretty much a standard script.

I guess the FBI guys never arrested and arraigned anyone before or they would have known this. Holder had nothing to do with it. It is legal SOP. The US attorney. Should have thought through this if they wanted to deviate from the normal rule of criminal procedure.

“I think the intervention of a judge who had no business butting herself into a heavy investigation like this one gives Becks a lot of credibility now”

Apparently, the judge has some heavy ties ti islam herself. Nothing like using the system to murder citizens .

The obama gang protects muslims.
Look at Major hassan. His trial is being dragged out forever.
This kid is being protected by obama and holder.

Look Bozo, there was more than enough evidence to the contrary of what you advocate.they were noted by our own intelligence via the Russians! more than enough evidence for militant enemy combatant status. This is obama’s cover for terrorism. All this does is tie-up the courts. we have laws that deal with domestic terrorism but Zer0 and Holder trumped them. All this does nothing to embolden civil rights but plays into the manipulation of our justice system which favors enemy combatants. Don’t flash the civil rights B.S. Go back to your hole, troll.

"Enemy combatant status" for an American citizen on American soil might be legal, but it is not Constitutional. If the charges are proven true in a court of law - and the evidence appears overwhelming - Tsarnaev will probably be executed just like Timothy McVeigh was.

We have a Constitutional process for dealing with American citizens who commit criminal acts, and our Founders wisely built safeguards to protect every American citizen from being convicted and punished without a trial. What is convenient, expedient and popular is not always right. History shows that what a government and a public holds to be popular can change in a hurry, and those who have shortcut due process for fellow citizens have later found their own due process ignored.

Here is the oath that this "Bozo" has sworn many times:
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same... So help me God."

Not to mention the special treatment of Abdul Alharbi.

“What’s wrong with this picture?”

First we give the family asylum so that THEY can be SAFE...

Then we give both brothers welfare growing up, and the family ,SO THAT THEY ARE SAFE…

...it continues for the older and his wife and their child SO THAT THEY ARE SAFE….

We give the younger citizenship on ann.9/11 and award him a scholarship...to make sure HE IS SAFE.....

What do we get in return for our generosity and PROTECTION SO THAT THEY ARE SAFE?

4 murdered, dozens with limbs blown off and more than 100 with terrible injuries!!!!!.......

...with the mother of these two bombers screaming “America did not keep my sons SAFE..”

Now we will be protecting him so He WILL FEEL SAFE... by providing three lawyers, one of which is the top public defender, who is already requesting millions to defend him.....TO KEEP HIM SAFE.

... we are paying for medical treatment..security detail....legal fees...and the cost of his trial......

so that he can have the right... “to say NOTHING!”

(from Fox-Greta, slightly tweaked.)

> you know what FBI stands for? Famous But Incompetent

LEOs don’t refer to them as that for nothing. So many are spoon-fed and handpicked because of politics but that seems to be decreasing, however coming from a family of wealth sure doesn’t decrease your chances of getting hired by a long shot...: )

I know several former agents and a few active agents that seem to be pretty decent guys but I have seen some of the snot nosed brats with chips on their shoulder agents too.

Naturalization can be revoked. 8 USC § 1451(c), 8 USC § 1424(a)(4) among others.

The former and few active agents are just that, few. They started out locking people up and kicking in doors. Now, with all the PC crap they have to deal with. And the desire for a more diverse work force being more important than getting people that know how to do the job, IE Napolitano, burns them out. They’re just tired of the BS.

Anyone on here, as you seem, that has worked with the feds knows all too well what we’re talking about.

State Dept, DSS agents that don’t want to carry guns.
The head of the DEA that was unable to answer basic questions about drugs during a Congressional hearing.
The DEA spending more time on ‘pain management clinics’ than the meth coming across the border from Mexico.
FBI agents can’t even learn about muslim terrorists.
The list could go on for days

After a while, even the hardest charger gets burned out. And then they get run out by the young, backstabbing weasels that get hired. Who’ve never been told no, once in their lives.

Alot of that is to blame on guys like JE Hoover and his desire to hire guys like him, instead of street cops.

Oh well.

That’s as good example as I have heard. As others have pointed out, only in America can we have people on watch lists who are also on welfare. Then, when they cook off, a judge with middle east connections comes to the hospital to get them to clam up.

Naturalization can be revoked. 8 USC § 1451(c), 8 USC § 1424(a)(4) among others.

Indeed it can be revoked, but as I posted earlier this this thread (#45):
"Naturalization can only be revoked in a judicial proceeding, or through an administrative proceeding subject to judicial review. In short, Tsarnaev is an American citizen whether we like it or not (I don't), and is therefore entitled to every right of an American citizen until he is convicted in a court of law."

Even the law by which a citizen's naturalization may be revoked recognizes that citizen's right to due process and judicial review.
