We need help in SC-01. Mark Sanford is running slightly behind Democrat Elizabeth Colbert-Busch thanks to a ton of Nancy Pelosi's money. Now we could debate whether Sanford was the best candidate or not for Republicans but it is what it is.
The 2nd place guy, Curtis Bostic, has many supporters pledging to write in his name. Even Bostic's son is encouraging it on his Twitter account. We need to encourage Bostic to do the right thing and discourage his supporters from writing in any name and encourage them to vote for Mark Sanford (even if it's not an "endorsement" of Sanford.)

Yeh my sentiments exactly. I doubt their votes would look much different from Elizabeth Colbert’s. Do we really need another slimeball in Congress?
This one seat really doesn’t matter.

As a Republican if I could vote here I’d vote for the Dem. I’m tired of the GOP’s trashy candidates and the ‘it’s the best we can do’ attitude. Start over.

Something I think is worse than an adulterous liar. He didn’t take Sun City in the primary, a very conservative bastion...I’m betting they will stay home. And if they do, he will lose. Why do we keep having to vote for total jerks to protect ourselves from greater total jerks?! If Sanford loses, it will be because of his character, not Pelosi’s money.

We demanded he quit and he refused. He loved his position too much.
He didn't have the grace to know that the people of South Carolina could no longer bear to look at him or listen to him. He should have resigned as governor. Instead, he made us wait until the end of his term.
Now he's back, claiming that his primary victory as a sign that God approves of him and his cheating, lying and fraud. He is a NUTCASE. Come 2014, we can go after Colbert's dingalong, horse-faced sister (who has a phony job at Clemson U) and maybe even put Jenny Sanford in her place!)
And maybe the GOP will notice that sometimes we really refuse to eat their crap sandwiches.
