I've always loved our UConn Husky mascot Jonathan (left). He's cute and agile enough to be able to do a lot of dancing and running around. I hope they leave his costume alone, but I assume he's been changed as well...

What it is all about is to try to unify the different team logos. Remember the football team has theirs, the two b-ball teams theirs, and even the other teams theirs. Plus the real huskies do look like the new symbol, although there is a white version of the breed.

I admit I'm a bigger fan of Geno's women's basketball team... I haven't followed the men's team that closely for awhile now. I don't really follow UConn Football.
How do you like North Carolina? That's one of the states hubby and I are considering moving to "someday". We also love South Carolina, and are considering Georgia and Florida, although the latter seems to be going awfully Blue the past few years...
