Megyn Kelly reported Friday that the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks had to be detonated via a line of sight trigger mechanism. According to federal officials this could mean there was a 3rd bomber or accomplice who may have been involved in the attacks. The range of remote control parts is within at least 250 yards or less. The remote control parts are also NOT a part of Al Qaedas Inspire magazine instructions.
Federal investigators now believe a third terrorist could have been involved in the attacks.

Your welcome.
It bothered me that I kept seeing the mention on FR that Saudi national had burn injury on his hand, but the info never had a source. What I was looking for was a doctor or hospital spokesperson saying that. Never found anything from them, but I was surprised by what I did find.

" They think he may be injured, but it turns out that most of that [blood] is from other people. But he does have burns on his hands, said Miller.
[April 16, 2013] Sources: Injured Saudi man not a suspect in Boston attacks But the pattern of his burns mainly on his hands, Miller says has investigators wondering what he was doing at the time of the blast. CBS: FBI, BPD very interested in Saudi national
The Saudi guy may have had a 3rd one ? a dud ? that could explain why his hands where burned.

Yeah, she might spill all the beans or have a lot more to say than what the DHS, and this administration's wants the people to know about. In other words ? she might blab more than what they want her to say in public.
Perhaps ? they might give her a nice paid vacation back to Russia permanently, or the public will never hear from her again.

Why do people feel that they don’t want to arrest her for her crimes she has commited, but rather they want to arrest her to keep her quiet and out of the picture ?

When investigating a crime of the magnitude of this nature all possible suspects, all possible theories, all possible leads are not off the table.
Look under every rock and crevice, don't leave any rock unturned.

FBI warned us in 2002 of inevitable terrorist attacks in the USA targeting Civilians.

Niagara Falls where just tourists. Never heard anything more about Darien, CT. I think an Amtrak train was stopped for Darien, IIRC.

Her crimes in the US were shoplifting...it would cost far too much for the meesly 1,000 she took... and the store certainly wants no more press than it’s had already.
But keeping her quiet is Kinda for the same reason they put a muzzle on Michl wide-hips when her husband ran for Pres. She was creating far too many problems and getting in the way of his run.

Rule out Darien...it was a robbery and they ruled him out..seems he’s a two-bit criminal with a rap sheet of some sort.

Some Freepers pegged it in the original bombing thread as a remote control from the crime scene pictures. I'm sorry, but I don't have the link.

People have conjectured that “Roof Man” is security. Thing though about the body language he is exhibiting in the photos in how he is walking on the roof, he doesn’t appear to be acting like security, he appears more like a possibly very angry young man.

I agree except there’s too many theories that really are wild goose chases....and you can’t follow them all here on FR....let alone all the ones flooding the net.

I disagree....the whole idea of security is to not look like security.

You have a point there.
How he is acting right there as the blast goes off though isn't how I would expect someone who is security to be acting though.

" I agree except theres too many theories that really are wild goose chases.. "
Bingo !
Perhaps ? maybe ? just speculation ? they invent wild wacko conspiracy theories to throw people off the hot trail and onto a cold trial ?
Enter in Agent Smith...... they all look alike, a decoy that fits the same description.

What do you guys think about it being just a timer? The electronic components the FBI apparently recovered have been identified by the RC car manufacturer as pieces of their products.
Also, a timer is more problematic to deploy. Once you set the backpack down and activate the timer, you absolutely, positively, must put distance between yourself and the backpack (unless you are in suicide mode, in which case, why have even a timer? and why attract notice by setting the pack down?). Then, when time is up, it goes, never mind if that's the optimal instant.
On the other hand, with a decent RC system, you can get away, turn around, and watching the crowd, pick the optimal moment. And then look up at Lord & Taylor's cam and say cheese.
BTW, that AQ Chef article everybody cites does not cover using RC controls. It confines itself to the old-fashioned makeshift clock timer:
- Disassemble the clock.
- If you want to set up the explosion to occur within an hour, cut off the arms of the clock except for the minutes arm. If you want more than an hour, you cut off all arms except for the hour arm.
- Make a hole in the face of the clock to insert the nail.
- ... etc.
Very basic stuff.

Boston was not a suicide mission.
