Renewable Power Advocates Present Deceptive Rate-Hike Arguments in Colorado House Committee . .. presented deceptive arguments to hide the mandate’s costs to consumers.

Senate Bill 252 requires rural electric cooperatives to derive 25 percent of their electricity from specially designated renewable sources by 2020. Under current law, which the legislature passed in 2007, rural electric cooperatives must derive 10 percent of their electricity from specially designated renewable sources by 2020.

This state has gone totally Kalifornia. I was looking into moving there at one point. Glad I didn’t.
