In the big picture, that wasn’t my main point. Thank you for letting me know newer autos have had this function. I drive an old car and couldn’t care less about that function.
My point was simply that this guy of course knew his auto had that, so why would he spend precious time including in his escape plan the cell phone being used to track them...just doesn’t feel right to me.

Why do you disbelieve Danny? It is because of him the bombers got caught so soon.
It is when Danny pulled to the side of the road to text that he was car jacked. A lot of people do that. Considering it was late at night and not much traffic during that time, there's no reason for him not to answer a text, or send one.
He had 90 minutes to figure out what he was going to do. If you've ever been in a life/death situation, you'd know how Danny's mind was working.
It is a blessing that Danny's friend called him during the car jacking. That may have been the triggering point when it might have dawned on him what to do with his iphone. It also gave him the option of having it not on him anymore, meaning he didn't put it back in his jacket pocket.
Me neither, I'm thinking he was their driver, a part of the threesome, the third guy the FBI is looking for. Since he's Chinese, he's obviously tech savy and everyone knows their expertise in electronics and he's the one with the radio control experience.......
At the last minute he got cold feet and bailed out.......Good Lord, I'm surprised the FBI hasn't realized this......
That’s a pretty compelling argument. Makes a bit more sense then what I’ve read. To be clear, I’m not out to disprove Danny’s story and of course thankful that the two bombers were caught. Just can’t reconcile the pieces of his story.

There are also traditional features such as automatic emergency notification in the event of an accident or if the vehicle is stolen.
There is also a definite broadening of the offerings from competitive technologies which will include a health-check function that broadcasts live information to the most local dealership, as well as real-time weather and traffic reporting.
Certainly exclusive to the Mercedes-Benz technology is a personal concierge service which can connect the driver to a representative that can assist in booking reservations for dinner, hotels and even airfare.
The mbrace system will be available across the entire Mercedes-Benz lineup, and will come as standard equipment except on the GLK, C-Class, SLK and E-Class Coupe.
Service will be complimentary for the first six months - after which an annual subscription will set you back $280 for the standard service, and an additional $20 annual fee for the concierge

Police Say The Naked Man Arrested In Boston Was Not Tamerlan Tsarnaev
Both his nutty parents and his straight up Uncle say they are 100% certain this video is Tamerlan. Look at Tamerlan's most significant feature; his enormous nose. There can't be another profile anywhere. We are being lied to on a massive scale.
On Thursday night while police were hunting in Watertown, Mass. for bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, at one point they arrested a naked man who looks a lot like Tamerlan.
Police say the naked man is not Tamerlan, despite various conspiracy theories going around the Internet.
According to the official account, Tamerlan died after a shootout with cops, riddled with bullets and shrapnel before being run over by his brother who was fleeing the scene in an SUV.

The Watertown police department got back to us via email just to say that the naked man was not Tamerlan Tsarnaev (pictured on right and in high-res here).
The shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers occurred on Laurel Street. The journalist interviewed in this video describes naked man's capture near Nichols and Dexter, literally down the street from the shootout.
Naked man was apparently stripped, questioned, clothed, questioned some more, and reportedly let go. It's likely police stripped him because they were under citywide bomb threat and wanted to make sure he didn't have a suicide vest, but the police did not comment on that.

Yep technology is moving at a rapid pace. Heck you can start your vehicle from inside a bldg were you are at and let it be cooling or heating as the outside temp may require. It’s almost impossible not to be tracked in newer autos these days.
