Didn’t say you like him.

You are agreeing with his premise and are under the impression he has seen the light.

He hasn’t seen the light, he’s simply using this as a way to attack the right.

He’s going to get you and anyone else on the right he can to agree with him, we are becoming a police state.

Then he’s going to turn on you and start addressing his left wing audience and blaming the right as the reason the country is becoming a police state.

He’ll even do it while making a big funny.

“The right agrees with me we’re becoming a police state, they’re just too stupid to know we’re becoming a police state because of the right.”

His audience will go absolutely nuts.

He’s seen the light?

Leftist always try and convince people the only way to be free of a police state is to give up your rights.

Look at Cuba.

Just because you see the light on one thing doesn’t mean that you still aren’t stubbling around in the dark on other things, which he is, but my point is things are getting bad when a far leftwiner like Bill Maher see us becoming a police state and sad when there are FReepers who don’t se it.

Now I still like to see where this ties into your original post about me making a pet of Bill Maher, because I honestly don’t see it or how anyone can see it and there is the fact that no one else on the whole thread sees it.

Please show me where in the article it tells of Maher making the following statement?

"“The right agrees with me we’re becoming a police state, they’re just too stupid to know we’re becoming a police state because of the right.”

Bill Maher is lying, he doesn’t believe the country is becoming a police state as you or anyone else on the right understand a police state.

You are under the assumption that your idea of a police state and his idea of a police state are one and the same.

What you call a police state he calls Utopia.

He is simply using the term “police state” to get people on the right to agree with him so he can then attack the right.

He will claim, “It’s not the left that’s responsible for creating the police state it’s the right that’s responsible for creating the police state”

His solution for the police state as you understand it, is a state just like Cuba. No opposition to his/their position.

Do not trust this guy, your thought process and his thought process are completely different. He’s playing a word game.

Read the sentence preceding that statement.

“He'll” that's “He will” future tense not present. It's what he will say in the future.

I point out I was talking about what happen, not what might happen, what I think may happen. I put to you he could change his ways and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, which I hope he does. He may get so depress by ‘O’ failure he may take some rash and unfortunate action. A metor may come crashing down on him. I myself concern myself in such disscussion to what was done or said not might be’s. I stand by my thoughts the fact that he made such a statement without any blame of quaifers makes his words significant, because they are listen to by so many on the left.

By the way placing words in a man’s mouth even a man like Bill Maher I consider as something that the left engage in not truth seekers.

Fine.

You want to trust him, trust him, I don’t.

A snake is a snake.

If you get bit because of that trust don’t blame anyone but yourself.

I don’t trust him, but I won’t stoop to bearing flase witness against him. I don’t hold anyone accountable for what I think they might do, as I said those are tactics of the left.

[[Bill Maher is lying,]]

Absolutely he is- this is nothign more than a publicity stunt to try to recover his falling poll numbers- plain and simple- it’s just liek all those fake ‘reality’ tv shows that dub in fake sounds, and correograph fake tensiosn and rdramas to try to keep peopel intere4sted-

Maher is a fake through and through- he’s vile, nasty and despicable as evidenced by his filthy vile and nasty remarks abotu women and Sarah and the right- and anyoen that want’s to court a pit viper thinking they ‘have changed’ are setting htemsleves up to be poisoned- Bill is full of hate- and hate rules his world-

Looking at the posts, into page two already, not seeing much about the content of Maher’s protest.

It looks like the majority of comments are an exercise of rule for radicals.

So should it be concluded, most posting Freepers are OK with cops shooting hundreds of rounds at the unarmed suspect?

I have not read any credible source on manner in which suspect was identified.

What should standard be for shooting a suspect?

LEO is California thought the standard ought to be driving a pickup truck. For those with short memories, a black male ex cop named Dorner was on the run about LA. Cops shot up two Mexican women delivering papers, and then a white guy seconds after being cleared by a police stop.

It wouldn’t be so bad if this blind “let’s trust them this time” mentality only affected the people that played the fool and trusted the left to change, but it doesn’t just affect them, it affects all of us.

This “this time it will be different” is the exact thinking that’s got us here.

I just don’t get it. How can anyone in their right mind even contemplate much less believe BM, who’s pandering to an extreme left wing audience, would suddenly change and embrace the right and risk loosing that audience.

I’ve heard of leaps of faith, but when you leap out of a plane you better have a parachute.

The left claims they wouldn’t use gun registration now for confiscation later.

What are your thoughts on it?

[[It wouldn’t be so bad if this blind “let’s trust them this time” mentality only affected the people that played the fool and trusted the left to change, but it doesn’t just affect them, it affects all of us.]]

Amen to that- the sad part is that they have given up, put hteir hand out for gubmint freebies, and are content to let big gubmint take care of them the rest of hteir lives (or so they think because that is what was promissed them)- but hte problem is that they are draggign us ALL into their deluded fantasy world where we’ll ALL be punished right alongside them

[[I’ve heard of leaps of faith]]

I’m not even sure it was a leap of faith- They just beleived the lie- Dearl eader is following the socialist script to the letter- promissing to support the peopel by takign money from ‘big busienss’ and givign it to them- and the peopel just blindly beleive it greedily thinking they will get theirs before all them oney runs out- I think it’s more greed than actual faith- they want ‘their piece of the pie’ now before it runs out- and liek a good socialist, dear leader promisses them that-

My thoughts are that you really could care less about what my thoughts are and that no matter what they were you lie and twisted them into something that they are not.

History has shown us that are those on the right that are just as tyrannical as those on the left. It’s easy to identify them as I poined out for they use the same tactics.

We all hold someone accountable for what they might do every time we vote.

Not just the person we vote for but the person we vote against.

I’m honest about it you aren’t.

Your moral high ground isn’t that high.

This coming from someone who bears flase witness and justifies it? I’ll sleep tonight as I will just consider the source.

I sleep at nights knowing I’m not lulled into a false sense of security by one or two statements from someone like BM that has shown they could never be trusted before.

Two statements from BM I can agree with on it’s face and I’m supposed to believe BM has suddenly seen the light?

Give me a break. It takes more than that for a well known 2 bit con artist to get my trust.

I can’t name one single person on the left that hasn’t and wont lie about everything and anything, BM is no exception.

Face it he let the genie out of the bottle by what he said, especialy as he added no qualifiers of blame. His statement will make people think. Will they all change there minds no, will it change any minds some I think, but no those won't become full feldged conservatives, but they are a few who will think and maybe stop sipping the Kool-aide so much. You can't make people un-hear and then un-think on what they hear.

But your demonizing and falsehoods will quickly undermined what ever good will come of it, because when someone lies about something it quickely taints the whole premise. Bill made a true statement we are become a Police State. You comments taint it and turn it into something bad.
