Millions in CIA 'ghost money' paid to Afghan president's office: New York Times

Tens of millions of U.S. dollars in cash were delivered by the CIA in suitcases, backpacks and plastic shopping bags to the office of Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai for more than a decade, according to the New York Times, citing current and former advisers to the Afghan leader.

The so-called "ghost money" was meant to buy influence for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but instead fuelled corruption and empowered warlords, undermining Washington's exit strategy from Afghanistan, the newspaper quoted U.S. officials as saying.

"The biggest source of corruption in Afghanistan", one American official said, "was the United States."

For “more than a decade?” Wow, Bush was only in office for 8 years. I wonder which administrations were involved.

The drug-driven economy was started early.

I guess it is correct to say that Afghan government lives off heroin trade.

I hear Afghan drugs are very popular in Iran. Is there a connection with our support of the trade in Afghanistan?

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE! Oh sorry, I had a moment of distorted recall from the dark side.

Afghan heroin is up to 80% of global turnover. New York, Paris and Tokyo heroin too. Is there a connection as well?

The term “Jizya” comes immediately to mind.

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/004-jizya.htm

How much have the Afghan Chiefs and war lords been paid to “keep the roads clean” (not blow our troops up every time they go by)?

Jizya;

It’s what you have to pay in order to live after Islam takes over, silly Dhimmie!

Oh; BTW; subjugated Dhimmies are not allowed to possess weapons...
And we wonder why Mullah Barry and his loyal Demican court is so desperately obsessed with disarming non-Muslims while arming militant Islamic supremacists and 3rd World drug lords (which in many cases are probably one and the same)?

Expect continuous Sandy Hook and Beslan class slaughters of American innocents to be arranged until they have an excuse to force that particular article of Sharia on the Amerikkan Caliphate.

Pretty soon the only safe place to send your kids to school will be to a Madrassa...

...As long as you don’t count their precious souls for anything, that is.

Speaking of Muslim gang bosses, has anyone heard from that obese, vicious Muqtada Al Sadyr of Iraq lately?

I fully expected him to be the Ayatolla of Iraq by now.
How much Jizya are we paying him, I wonder?

An out of control agency acting on behalf of a split personality super power in an uncontrollable third world hell trying to bribe savages into becoming honest capitalists.

Looks good on paper. Where could it possibly have gone wrong?
