7 injured in shootings, stabbing, other incidents at Virginia Beach’s Oceanfront

Seven people are recovering from injuries after violence erupted at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach police are investigating three shootings, a stabbing, several robberies, an assault and an argument in which two people were injured by a thrown bottle. Police say all the incidents occurred between late Saturday and early Sunday morning. None of the victims’ injuries was life-threatening. No additional details were available Sunday.

Thanks for the link. I thought it was something like that. Reminds me of ‘Greek Week’ of about 25 years ago when we had State Police in full riot gear guarding all the off-ramps on the old toll road.

Is it Black College week in Va. Beach already? That's exactly what it was. pisses the hell out of me that the city allows this year after year. These thugs come to town, trash the beach, shoot each other and then go home leaving us to clean up their mess and deal with the bad publicity.
