I’m guessing that is one very very minimized estimation of the assistance they received. Section 8 housing assistance means that you get a house, apartment - whatever. You pay up to 25% of your spendable income - the rest is paid by the government. If you are on TANF, WICs, AFDC, e.g. welfare, you pretty don’t much have spendable income. Your bill ain’t enough to squat for.

What is a house, 3 bedroom apartment go for per month where they lived? Multiply for say, oh 10 years.... then add the weekly/monthly subsistence they got....MORE than $100K. Much more. I’m guessing at least 5 times that if you include the TANF, SNAP, WICS and whatever. Maybe more, depending on how lavish the home was.

Under the same scrutiny, any family or person in America should be cut off from any aid the first time a family member puts a gun in someones face, commits robbery, steals, engages in assault, buys or sells drugs, or commits any act harmful to society.

What we paid for these bomber boys, we've been paying to american families in every city who fill our jails, rob our stores, kill our neighbors, and who sell drugs.

Jihad ain't got nothin on our welfare crusade.

I think I remember something some years ago - and maybe the law changed since then - that required an immigrant to show that they were not going to be financially indigent, in order to obtain any kind of visa that allowed them to stay here. Has the law changed?

This is for just one family. Are there any numbers detailing how many “immigrant” families there are milking us for this kind of cash? I’m thinking the number is in the millions.

We are talking many billions here.
