ESPN NBA analyst Chris Broussard caused a lot of controversy Monday when he said the following about NBA center Jason Collins, who had announced he was gay earlier in the day: "I'm a Christian. I don't agree with homosexuality. I think it's a sin, as I think all sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is.... If you're openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be ... that's walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ."

he is hoping even half of the gay 1% of the country will buy his merchandise, and then he can laugh at them for being such suckers

Do you care to rephrase that?

In the end, I think I phrased it clearly, one way or the other.

I should clarify that -- The widespread flaunting and celebration of homosexual activity heralds the end of society. I realize some homo activity occurs at all phases of a society's development and subsequent devolution.

Michael Jordan was once asked why he refused to endorse a Democrat running in his home state, and said,” Republican buy shoes too.” Charles Barkley considered running for governor of Alabama in 1995. Later in the 2000s, he said he used to be a Republican, until they, “went completely crazy.”

IIRC David Robinson, and of course, Jeremy Lin, are fairly conservative.

I always hear from the homophiles - “I suppose you think all gay people are going to hell”

Yep, there are a lot of false premises in that accusation, but the assertion is not intended to be answered. It means “shut up”.

Courage would be a black NBA player announcing that he had voted for Romney.

Mark Levin said it best yesterday too..courage would be coming out as a homosexual in IRAN..now THAT’S courage..because if Collins had done that he would have been stoned to death..but hey the left loves Iran so they won’t mention that

“I don’t think he is black.”

Chris Broussard considers himself black:

From an interview with him published last year: http://thegrio.com/2012/02/29/2012-chris-broussard/#46579535

“My father, Edward Broussard. He taught me how to be a man. He taught me that the most important thing a man can do is provide for his family. [My father] was committed to the family, committed to my mother. And he raised myself and my brother up to respect authority and to respect his authority. We are really close-knit family. He was also very pro-black. Not so much in the activist sense—he just very much instilled in us a strong sense of blackness and how important it was to be committed and connected to our people. We always felt that pride and feeling great about being black. Unfortunately, some of our people have an inferiority complex about being black. I never felt that at all. I feel a great overwhelming pride in being black.”

It looks like Clyde Drexler gives contributions exclusively to Republicans.

MJ will always be the greatest player to have ever played the game

I guess he has the rings to back it up, but if I could draft anybody in their prime, it would still be Magic. He had to play tougher competition: Isiah Thomas, Bird, Dr. J, etc.

It says Greg Anthony as was a leader of Young Republican in college. He endorse Obama in 2008, but endorsed Romney in 2012.

Why do homosexuals keep answering questions no adult is asking?

It seems that "the love that dare not speak its name" has morphed into "the love that won't shut the hell up".

Broussard did not really take back his remark

Correct: "Today on OTL, as part of a larger, wide-ranging discussion on today's news, I offered my personal opinion as it relates to Christianity, a point of view that I have expressed publicly before. I realize that some people disagree with my opinion and I accept and respect that."
