What the cops did, that didn't fix the problem, did it?

The problem was resolved.

Seems to me that law enforcement ended the ability for these two islamists to continue their mass killings and maimings. What was it that the cops didn't do, then? And, in what manner was the problem resolved WITHOUT law enforcement involvement?

No, the cops burned a bunch of ammo, and the younger brother ran over his older brother's neck. Scratch one.

And then, after the cops got tired of trampling the Constitution, a citizen ID'ed him and the cops showed up to burn yet more ammo without killing the guy.

Those are the facts, as I've heard them.

You could leave out the entire episode of forcing people out of their homes at gunpoint without a warrent, and the thing would have gone down the same.

The people you are defending are not Elliot Ness, doing a careful job of investigation and showing pictures around. They trample the Constitution.

They did a crappy job in LA, and they did a crappy job in Boston.

Well. the first terrorist was taken out by a citizen.

THe second was actyually found by a another citizen. The cops just made a lot of noise and broke stuff until he gave up.
