First clue: dim-bulb-crat
Second clue: state senator
Third clue: she “thought”

Conclusion: Ignorant bimbo incapable of earning a decent living in any respectable job and therefore a prime candidate to hold political office.

I guess you could stretch and say you earned unemployment benefits.
Your employer pays for these potential benefits.
Ok, I am even able to stretch her argument.

Democrat Former state senator says she thought she earned unemployment benefits

Boise — Former Sen. Nicole LeFavour's application for a $155 weekly unemployment check has been denied after the state objected to her claim.

Are you that dumb, lady?? (Sorry, she is if she is a DEMOCRAT!)

That’s like driving to endanger and claiming you earned your car insurance.

Why, there has to be a job for somebody with her qualifications at The Birds of Prey Refuge in Boise. She could work at the snack bar. I’m sure that two out of three times, she could tell the difference between eagle s**t and ice cream.

"LeFavour, 49, said she delayed applying for unemployment benefits while she lived off savings and began work on a memoir about her service as the only openly gay legislator in Idaho history."

She chose not to run for re-election. Unemployment insurance only applies to those laid off through no fault of their own. Even if she had been defeated, she would not be eligible.

I agree with everything said about this leech-ette on society...however, looking at it from a different angle it would have been lots MORE fun catching the unemployment bureaucracy APPROVING AND PAYING her monthly checks.

In fact, I'm surprised they DIDN'T approve her. They've probably already okayed gazillions of fraudulent amnesty-granted immigrants, why not such a selfless patriot as is this Demonrat ex-legislator?

In 22yrs of owning my own Family Farm business (Sub-S Corp) in the CommunistWealth of PA, I was never able to collect unemployment benefits, due to having day-to-day-control of the company, being a corp officer and owning stock.

It was a seasonal business - April to Nov - and although I easily paid $100k+ into the UC Fund, I got zip in the off months, for all those years. All employees were paid UC during downtime.

I challenged the UC ruling 2x, but lost. If I’d had all that money I paid-in, invested at 3-4%, I’d have had a very nice savings acct.
