SANTA MONICA (CNS) - President Barack Obama will speak at a luncheon fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee in Santa Monica June 7.
Tickets for the event at the home of Peter Chernin begin at $10,000, according to an invitation posted on the website, PoliticalPartyTime.org, which tracks political fundraisers.
The price is $16,200 for the luncheon and the opportunity to have a photo taken with Obama, and $32,400 -- the maximum allowable contribution to a national party committee in a calendar year -- to be a luncheon co-chair, which also allows the donor to attend what is described as a ``special discussion'' in addition to the luncheon and photo reception.
A fool and their money are soon parted.
meantime of course we (the American taxpayer) subsidies these fund raisers to the tune of millions in flight costs, Secret service per diem and other costs.
I HOPE for a 20 Earthquake.
Traffic is a real ball breaker when this Dipwad comes to town! Thank God I am not anywhere near this scumbags route!
I’d like to buy someone a beer if they do the right thing . . .
Keep walking west until your hat floats.
great traffic will be a NIGHTMARE. Presidents should STAY OUT OF LA.....period.
Peoples Republic of Santa Monica, Home of odd ball religious cults, fruits, movie wannabe’s, and just plain liberal wackos.....he’ll feel right at home. (They drive like New Yorkers there, NOT like Californians.....)
No worries, I'm sure he's just on his way to another taxpayer funded Hawaiian vacation.
They drive like New Yorkers there...
If that isn’t the truth!
All this piece of Carp ever does is campaign, it is the only thing he has the slightest ability at, except maybe something with Reggie! He is the most incompetent administrator ever, he even makes Jimmah look good. Well the only other thing he is successful at is trashing the Constitution.
