If I were the governor of Kansas I might discreetly inquire if the government of Mexico had ever considered an extradition request for the felons behind Fast and Furious. If so it might be an interesting PR point to raise in this discussion. Remember, the Kenyan cannot issue a pardon that works in Mexico.

They really don’t like that we are a republic of republics. Each state has its own legislature and its own executive. And they have the power to pass and enact laws for their own people. And Holder doesn’t like that.
Holder can send all the letters he wants, but the most he can do is sue the state of Kansas.
Surely no one here thinks Kansas or any other state with such legislation would prevail in today’s court. Even Scalia thinks the interstate commerce clause allows for intrastate commerce to be regulated.
Note to Holder, you have to read the laws beore you can vote on them. Oh, pay attention to the part where laws are not subject to voting if you want to keep them or not.
