"Air Force members are free to express their personal religious beliefs as long as it does not make others uncomfortable," So if Mikey Weinstein "makes people feel uncomfortable" and insists on his course, he should be discharged, right?
Or is the guy already out?

“as long as it does not make others uncomfortable”
Exactly the position Hitler had on “religious freedom”....

Regarding how Col. Nidal Hasan, US Army, and al-Qaida terrorist, signed his official correspondence:
“SWT” = “Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, “Glory be to Allah”
Muslims are expected to use this salutation in their communications.
Has it been banned? Prayer rugs in the office? Koranic sayings in frames on the walls? Pictures of mosques? All these things are very common objects among muslims (I am friends with a number of muslims, this is their decor of choice.
To be consistent, it should all be banned from government offices.

Obeying the Commander in Chief is WAY down the list from obeying the Creator of the Universe!

[[An Air Force spokesperson said personnel are not allowed to proselytize but are free to express their personal religious beliefs so long as it does not make others uncomfortable.]]
Where i nthe constitution does it say ‘so long as it doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable’?

Anyone whose sensibilities are so delicate as to be disturbed by the sight of a Bible on an officer’s desk, or even by being engaged in a conversation with a believer, simply does not have sufficient strength of personality to be a competent, contributing member of the Armed Forces in the first place.

"Not too long ago, one particular sect of Christianity had control over a large part of the Air Force Academy, and became very abusive towards not just those of other, or no religions, but even against Christians of other sects." I live in Colorado, and am aware of these general allegations of abuse at the Academy, but have found little specifics reported anywhere, other than the complaint that so many people were in Bible Study groups that cadets who did not want to join Bible Study groups felt like "outsiders" ---which is pretty silly. Please specify widespread behaviors that were "abusive."
Mikey Weinstein was very very involved in making and encouraging these "complaints."

Mikey Weinstein is a repulsive, unAmerican little turd. He is on a personal search-and-destroy mission from his very own god.
He is a stain on the Air Force Academy for graduating him and on the United States Air Force for commissioning him.
But then, mistakes sometimes are made. He was a really bad one.

Get a book cover indicating it’s the Koran and wrap your Bible in it. Nobody will bother you.

Lt. Col. Laurel Tingley said in a statement to Fox News. Proselytizing (inducing someone to convert to ones faith) goes over that line. Just curious...how does a bible sitting on a desk do that exactly?
Is this like the gun sitting in the open killing somebody?

The military and Obama are confusing defending religious freedom with persecution of Christians and Jews. Persecutions are always masked as “defense” of others.

35 years ago I had to sit through a sickening USAF race relations class that told me that the Sons of Confederate Veterans were a violent racist organization and the Black Panthers were a benevolent organization that promoted racial tolerance and peace. I had been ordered to sit through the drivel and kept my mouth shut listening to the propaganda vomited by the diverse enlisted men that were teaching the course. I can say the downfall of the military could be attributed to that area in time with respect to affirmative action and racial problems.
To: yefragetuwrabrumuy
You posted a lot of examples as to why you agree with the Military on the decision they made.
But in the end - you are simply afraid of a Bible on a desk.
Think about what this says about you.
