We had a postal carrier try a bogus claim on us like that. He was delivering mail in the lobby of one of our buildings, and after going in and out several times to get mail, he all of the sudden walked right into a glass wall that he had avoided easily several times before. Then, he made a big show like his mouth was hurt for the security cameras.
Luckily, we had camera footage showing him checking out the position of the security cameras beforehand, and he had some prior fraudulent claims, so we convinced the jury that he planned it.
