Bingo - you got it. Incrementalism is the commies and dictators best friend. They’ve been taking over our educational systems and are controlling most of our media - so it is probably inevitable unless conservatives elect another great communicator like Reagan.
When I was in high school 47 years ago, they weren't a problem at all.
Patriotism, work ethic and morality were also taught.
Something very terrible has happened since those years, it's very evident.
To put it bluntly, most universities, high schools, grade schools teach liberal crap and their products show the results of being prepared for life by liberal crap.
We see the results of government influence and political correctness in our schools everyday, this can't continue.

With all due respect, EricT, Government schools aren't the nation's problem any more than Obama is. The problem is the majority of patriots who use schools merely as a "safe" place to leave their kids while they go to work, not making sure that the schools are teaching their kids the Constitution as the Founding States had intended for it to be understood, particularly the Founding States' division of federal and state government powers.
Thomas Jefferson had correctly predicted the consequences patriot apathy as follows.
