Americans Are Ready for a Female President. Finally.
The Daily Beast ^ | May 4 ,2013 | Eleanor Clift

Posted on 05/04/2013 5:42:08 PM PDT by Hojczyk

A new poll from Emily’s List shows an overwhelming number of voters now support the idea. It’s a movement the group hopes someone in the sisterhood is about to inherit.

Stephanie Schriock, president of Emily’s List, which raises money and works to elect pro-choice Democratic women, said she has no inside knowledge of what Clinton is likely to do, but there is widespread acceptance of a woman as president, and 72 percent of voters surveyed think it’s likely to happen in 2016. While Clinton gets mentioned most, there’s no guarantee she will run, which is why Emily’s List wants to “ignite the conversation” around an idea whose time has come, and build a movement that Clinton or another in the sisterhood can inherit.

Elanor Clift seems to be overlooking that liberals like to inflate support statistics for their socialist policies to try to make it look like their policies are actually supported by the majority. After all, Obama had said that 90% of Americans were interested in gun control after the Senate had failed to pass its gun control legislation. But I think that 90% of Americans were either against or unconcerned about the legislation.

Also, the emphasis on a female president sidesteps the federal government’s constitutonally limited powers. In fact, one of the only powers that the feds have to regulate intrastate commerce is to regulate the US mail service, Clause 7 of Section 8 of Article I. In fact, the Founding States had arguably intended for presidents to be spending as much time on the golf course as Obama has to keep from getting bored if the country wasn’t fighing a war.

Please.

No pictures of Eleanor Clift.

She’s almost as ghastly as Helen Thomas.

And more stupid.

Hell yes, why not? White men have done such a horrible job of developing and running this country we should try one of everybody. Fortunately we got three out of the way with Obama, (muslim, African-American, gay). After the woman, lets try a Hispanic, Asian American, Native American, Transgender.

We are checking off white guilt boxes. The black one is done, the woman one is up next. Then maybe the Hispanic one or the gay/lesbian one will come after that.

Sarah Palin.

The GOP has heard your cry for a woman who has experience in the political arena and is proud to present the next election-cycle of:
Hillary Clinton vs Olimpia Snowe

This will continue the trend of selecting such winning candidates as John McCain and Mitt Romney!
Do any of you seriously doubt that this is at least a possibility? If so, I think I have a bridge to sell you...

Nikki is a governor, like Palin. I like Palin, she would be my ultimate favorite, but I think the fact she resigned would be used against her. She could make a great senator, and after that maybe she could run for president.

IMHO, we are fortunate that The Hildabeaste peaked too soon.

In October of 2016, she’ll turn 69. I doubt she’ll be healthy enough to run.

If The Hildabeaste does not run, what other female RAT could step up?

Palin represents my views better than anyone out there. Her unique mix of fiscal conservatism, social conservatism, western-state libertarianism, and populist reformer (elements which don’t always meld together all that well, but somehow fit together into an amazingly comfortable package with Palin), fits my views and ideology to a “t.” I’d support her more strongly than anyone since Reagan.

Michelle Bachmann would be okay too. She’s really solid on just about every position, and I’d readily vote for her as well. She just doesn’t quite have that kind of iconoclastic, anti-establishment reformer element that Palin does... which is something I particularly value about Palin. Not sure about Nikki Haley. Hear some good things about, some less than good. Don’t know enough.

Oh, well. Why ponder all this? Rove and the GOP-E will put forth some exasperatingly wretched RINO, and I’ll likely be staying home on election day 2016.

Now that we have a bisexual(?) or gay President, the Left will cram the Hildebeast down our throats. She will also be our first lesbian President if the rumors are correct.
