Syrian TV says that Syria will respond at the time and place of their choosing
Strong blasts hit the outskirts of the Syrian capital early on Sunday, state TV reports, saying that Israeli rockets have targeted a military research center.Massive explosions have been heard near Mount Qasioun in Damascus. The area hosts the Jamraya military research center, which came under Israeli attack earlier in January and marked the first incursion by Israel into Syrian airspace in six years. RT news

This is really a major story. i strongly urge every reader to go to the original and look at the video. Good factual coverage which puts to shame the crap US network news pukes produce. The IAF has conducted a really big airstrike against the major Syrian ‘research’ and ‘special weapons’ facility in Damascus. Just in general terms this is a delight to read about as the IAF does the voodoo they do so well. Reports of several thousand Syrian casualties including hundreds of Syrian military killed. Truly satisfying news just on general principles. The Assad regime seems to be nearing collapse and there are strong indications that Bashir will try to stave this off by ‘declaring war on Israel’ as a last ditch gambit to rally the populace. Looking at this video it would seem the Israelis can mete out enough destruction to finish bashir Baby and his cohorts in a couple of weeks. Then the real dog fight starts in Syria. There are also indications that after Syria Israel has Hezbollah on its hit list with another crushing display of air power as the chosen instrument. Well, Strike Zion, and strike hard and often until the Syrians and Hezbollards are squealing in terror on their faces. Back in Saudi Arabia the Saudi royals will be enormously amused at the Israelis bumping off lots of the hated Shia and Alawite schismatics and proxies of Shia Iran.

....they’re going to have to do a whole lot more before it can be considered a “ruinous heap”....it remains a city and livable...the damage thus far can be rebuilt.
And it can easily escalate.
