The core of the Muslim Bro are Egyptian revolutionaries. It was after all, founded in Egypt by al Banna, and was later cultivated by Nazi Germany from the 1930s through WW2. The MB became a distributor of Hitler's Mein Kampf in the middle east, and the MB is an Islamo-fascist socialist organization, advocating sharia law and state control of the economy.

In the WW2 era the future Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran fell in with some M Bro members and began discussing with them the ideas of the founder al Banna. Khomeini and a number of other mullahs became avid followers of the Nazi's Persian language broadcasts.

Today of course, the MB are dominating Egypt rather than just outlawed revolutionaries. And, the Egyptian Muslim Bro today has an affinity for Iran and Syria [an offshoot formed in Syria], as does al Qaeda's new number one, the Egyptian doctor Ayman al Zawahiri, who has at least one inlaw among the Iranian mullocracy.

The core leader of the 9/11 attack was Atta, also an Egyptian. And he, though Egyptian, was a member of the Syrian Muslim Bro, and was a visitor to Aleppo, Syria, a city which featured in his German college project on "urban planning." It's also the city through which al Qaeda-linked groups in Italy such as the Milan Cell - with the help of the Lugano Switzerland cell headed by a neo-nazi convert to islam Ahmed Huber- funneled fighters into Iraq to oppose the US led invasion and to support Zarqawi's al Tawhid and Krekar's Ansar al Islam.

OBL was of Yemeni ancestry on his father's side, and Syrian ancestry on his mother's side. His father died young and an elder brother became head of household. OBL was sent to a private school staffed with a number of teachers with MB sympathies, one of which was a Syrian that promoted violent jihad. It's no surprise then that OBL joined forces with Zawahiri's Egyptian terrorist group or that AQ fighters fled to Iran and Iraq.

AQ's efforts in Saudi Arabia are as an opposition group aimed at bringing down the Saudi leadership, something Iraq's Saddam Hussein and also Iran desperately wanted and still wants to do as well, which is why AQ and Iraq were involved with the Saudi opposition group based in London's Finsbury Park mosque, and also why there were so many AQ terror attacks in Saudi Arabia and not in Iran. The influence of the MB extended to Saudi Arabia as well, even setting less powerful parts of the Royal family against the ruling part the royal family, and influencing the religious police.

Note that AQ in the Arabian Peninsula was based in Yemen and not Saudi Arabia which would have been more dangerous to their health, and that AQAP targetted the Saudi Intelligence chief with one of their "undy bombers."
