Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

If she were honestly and truly running, and not doing another “tease” like in 2012, then I would certainly give her a fair chance to win my vote. Likely she would start near or at the top of my list, depending on the competition, but I want to know who is running (and why and how) before I commit to any specific candidate.

I think Palin could be just as powerful as a kingmaker, though.

Serious question. Do you think, just perhaps, the ‘tease’ wasn’t a tease at all? Many people use the term, but think about this seriously.

When any candidate runs or should I say considers running, they do what? they test the water. She did that. She went around, did the tour bus thing and say a ton of support. But aside from the GOPe attacks, what other negatives did she see?

Like every other candidate in the internet age, she has people monitoring websites. That isn’t even arguable. It’s simply reality today. And what did those people see across conservative sites?

She saw that her own ‘base’ was filled with GOPe types doing everything in their power to spread the talking point propaganda. Not just here. Everywhere. Libs don’t have that problem. They get behind someone and just go to the wall regardless. On the right (which today is filled with leftists) we don’t.

Simply put, she couldn’t trust her base. Combine that with death threats and the multi million dollar campaign by the establishment to tank her and you aren’t left with a ‘tease’ you are left with a smart move.

So when you see a PDS sufferer barfing up leftist propaganda, thank him from helping to save you from the ‘tease’.

Your comments were the problem. No more, no less. When you or anyone explains how they or comments like them are in any way conservative, I am all ears. And in 3 years of fighting the PDS wars, not a single person has.

Doesn’t make me right, conservative or anything else. It makes the people doing it wrong.

It probably wasn’t that she thought she couldn’t win because I believe that she could have overcome every argument against her by attacking who and what Obama was.

She probably considered that if she had won that she would not have been able to achieve the “relentless reform” that is needed given the composition of the Congress. She must know that she can only run once and for Sarah, there is no achievement in becoming President unless “relentless reform” can happen.

We have two more chances to get conservatives into Congress, conservatives that will follow her lead. She will do all she can in 2014, but it’s up to us to make it happen.

So, to be a conservative, one must profess total and unqualified support of Sarah Palin? That’s a yes or no question.

That would be an absolute no. To be a conservative, one must not follow liberal talking points and regurgitate them.

If you can find any existence of me saying Palin should not be contradicted or disagreed with anywhere on the planet, please do so and wrap it around my neck like an anchor.

You may find several instances, one on this very thread of me saying I wish she’d get off the pot on immigration though.

If anyone has an issue they should absolutely present it. But MSNBC talking points arent issues. They are liberal propaganda. ‘Make me a sammich’ isn’t an issue other than one of misogyny. Conservative isn’t calling people cultists for supporting and defending a person they believe in based on facts.

The issue is people doing exactly what you did. Classic PDS.

Not only yes, but HELL YES

And I would campaign, and donate, and collect funds and stand on street corners waiving a sign.

I would devote 100% of my free time to getting her elected.

To Sara Palin’s credit, I am sure that she does not regard herself as “the most accomplished woman in American history” and “the leader of the conservative movement.”

I agree with you that like Reagan’s modesty and humility, Palin’s modesty and humility probably precludes her recognizing that, it is one of her endearing and Christian qualities.

You assume a lot in your snarky post.

When you've put as much into the conservative cause as I have over more than 6 decades, I'll listen to your half-ass lectures, kiddie. Don't embarrass yourself.

I am pro life, anti gay marriage, and a fiscal conservative.

I just don’t like Sarah. If she were to win the nomination, I would support her. I just don’t think she has the ability to pull it off.

Oh and really, I don’t think I need to state the obvious, but I guess I will.

Oh yes, Mrs Palin resigned 1 year early from her 4 year term, for a much great goal of not herself, but state, compared to those like, Janet Napolitano and John Kerry or maybe like Barack Obama who took a salary for 2 years even though he was campaigning for another job and then resigned when he got that other job.

I see, the Liberals don’t want to talk about all those resignations for personal greed, rather one of a CONSERVATIVE because the state was being inundated with frivolous lawsuits by political hacks. O TAY! LOL

I don’t see why people here can’t see this. She’s great at raising money for others and making money for her family, but she will not run!

12'o 20 is too timid to risk Palin's "baggage"

Much, much safer to keep doing what the GOP has been doing -- not too controversial, please! Not too partisan! Surely next time they won't lose.

Have you ever bothered to read any of my posts from the primaries? No? Fine. Live up to the Conservative values you claim to promote by not posting false statements about me.

I supported ABR both at this forum and with my money, but Romney won anyway, not because I was playing it safe, but because that was who the primary voters nominated.

If you don't feel like reading my posts from the primaries, then at least read my original post, where I said I would support Palin. I even posted my defense of her. Funny how, at a forum where the members expect everyone in this country to "speak English", that so many don't understand that. Do you?

Hitlery could only win if there is even more massive, coordinated election fraud than we had in 2012.

Would you mind backing that up with the polls showing how low her favorability ratings are?

We don’t need to defend her to the lefties.

I never said we have to defend her TO the lefties, and I agree for the reasons you cite. But, we will have to defend her AGAINST the lefties to the voters we're trying to win over.

The lefties are going to vote left no matter what. So there is no point worrying about what the leftist scum thinks.

Agree, but as you said...

We need to educate the Republicans to this fact. We also need to educate the so-called “middle” - at least those who claim to be.

Agree, as I have pointed out many times? We lost by very close margins in the popular vote in 2008 and 2012. We need to nominate a Conservative candidate which will be difficult enough when our own voters keep nominating RINOs. Once we've done that, we need to win over the undecideds to our side. We aren't going to do that by attacking each other over made up offenses.

And we need to educate the conservatives who suffer from the notion that she “can’t win” because the MSM says so.

The only way to do that is to show Conservatives that the "baggage" she carries is made up by the left, and we can't do that without, ready...

Defending her against the lefties.
