Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

Just like in 2012 I will support any candidate that is

(1) pro-life without exceptions.
(2) understands and pledges to reverse the destruction of Christian culture in America.
(3) credibly promises to balance and significantly cut the budget.

Just like in 2012 I will vote a third party candidates in general elections or not vote if the emerging GOP candidate lacks (1-3).

I would crawl over broken glass soaked in lemon juice in a tornado, during a hurricane, an earthquake, dragging everyone I know to the voting booth to vote for her.

Lord please let this be so!!!!

But is this just a pipe dream? I really felt she was going to run in 2012 but I believe she was given numbers that showed she could not win.

Part of her problem back then is that she was quite mad at he GOP and the way she was treated that she got a bit gun shy and resisted taking advise from well seasoned and professionally trained true Tea Party, though strong Conservative GOP members because of how badly she got burned by the underhanded backstabbing dirty tricks by then two slimy self centered RINO anti-Tea Party Principles, McCain and Romney.

Plus there were some pretty vicious threats to her and her family and IMO that had a lot of influence on her decision not to run.

Hopefully she can trust her loyal supporters (millions of them) to have her back and also hire some top notch security people, starting with a small very professional and competent team that did security for her in Searchlight and Reno whom I worked closely with at the Reno event. All of this the first year of the emergence of the modern day Tea Party Movement.

Good work, but not enough, and without enough of an effect in broadening Palin's appeal.

In the years after Reagan was Governor, he gave far more speeches and made many more campaign appearances, along with writing and delivering more than a thousand short format radio commentaries. Thatcher had an astonishing work ethic that flummoxed Conservative Party adversaries who tried to overburden her with a combination of Parliamentary duties and public appearances.

In that manner, Reagan and Thatcher became polished and deeply knowledgeable speakers with an ability to not just fire up friendly audiences but to win converts. In 1975, I saw Reagan Reagan speak before deeply skeptical college students and win many of them over, with hard Leftists rattled by his appeal. Similarly, Melanie Phillips has recounted how listening to Thatcher's speeches helped make her into a conservative, so impressed was Phillips by Thatcher's sincerity and forceful reasoning that resonated with her misgivings over the effect of Leftism on British family life.

So far, Palin has not seemed to be able to reach beyond her fan base, and she has not established herself as having a wide range of expertise on the issues. Unless Palin can do so, she will not be an effective candidate for President.

But yes she is my choice, there is nobody else, I am on board if she were to run

Would never ever turn on her no matter what, and I maean NO MATTER WHAT

Anything less that worship around Palin invites the wrath of God being called down. That’s not a formula for victory

BS dono-o.

The not-a-formula-for-victory is all the PDS comments like yours above.

The very tag of PDS used against Conservatives is shameful.

BS. Yes, I am repeating myself.

What is shameful is the low information posters trying to stop those that support Palin with inane comments of worship, cult, and resisting the correct designation of PDS, or more accurately in some cases, PES. A lot of the male (was going to say men) posters have a bad case of the latter.

Misogynistic and chauvinistic comments worthy of leftist sites.

Dubling down, this was my first response to your post, I thought I lost it so here it is, enjoy!

Typical of those that dislike Palin for nefarious reasons. Don't buy into that scam

The very tag of PDS used against Conservatives is shameful.

Nonsense. It was posters defending her against the few here that constantly badmouthed her for no reason except their own insecurity or hatred for women (pissant being a prime example.) Probably a lot of them were plants or just low information pissants.

I would support her, but the media attacks would be constant and vicious. She would also be attacked by the GOPe, hard to see a path to victory for her, but yeah I’d be all in for Sarah should Sarah decide to get in. (I also like Cruz and Paul).

To think that Sarah has not had a very steep learning curve, fought tooth and nail to stay relevant is to ignore her efforts for the past few years. You have to really know your stuff to get others elected. She does it over and over and over all through a brilliant conservative message.
Few dare take her on. She is a conservative force that few can counter on the left.

My comments on this thread were out of line and semi-trolling. I apologize. I am not recanting the substance of what I said, but this thread was not the place for that.

The fact that you keep using President Reagan and a British Prime Minister to make your arguments that Governor Palin could be doing even more than being the most accomplished woman in American history and the leader of the conservative movement, says it all.

If your "Realville" is the same place where you could vote "against" Obama by voting for Romney and wishing that Romney wouldn't pan out to be the abortion, state-health care, gay agenda, and eco-tyranny-loving statist he is -- I've got news for you. You're living in Wishville. Realville is WAY outside your ken.

You will remain in Wishville as long as you think simply winning will solve the problem. You will remain in Wishville as long as you refuse to acknowledge that "winning" is losing if the "winner" is a statist big government liberal Republican. You will remain in Wishville as long as fear dictates your vote. When confidence and courage guide your vote, only then will you win.

...Ryan embracing homo adoption...

Are you kidding? He does? People, UNDERSTAND that "embraces homo adoption" really means embracing the idea that a "moral" government should force adoption agencies to accommodate gay applicants and punish adoption agencies that refuse to deal with gay "parents" because they are gay, and allowing an innocent child to go into such a "family" is a moral abomination.

Sola, if Ryan embraced libertarian principles (meaning keep government to a minimum) the same as Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams, who are both self-described libertarians, then this wouldn't even be a question. Libertarian principle create a nation where adoption agencies could deal with gay applicants as they please, barring the breaking of criminal laws (slavery, child porn, etc.) -- and just WATCH how far an adoption agency that made it a point to cater to prospective gay parents, would get.

Libertarian principle requires FAITH and CONFIDENCE in Americans to be moral, the same faith and confidence the Founders had in Americans. Big government "social" conservatism still wants to be the same Morality Nanny of liberalism, with the SAME GUARANTEED unintended consequences. Small l libertarianism respects individual moral freedom and the rightness of a moral society to effectively discriminate against truly immoral behavior enough to make living immorally a losing propositionl. As it is now, government makes living immorally profitable!!!!

Small-l libertarian principle is the BEST defender of morality in America because it PREVENTS government from forcing people to subsidise immorality and PREVENTS government from punishing people who live morally by doing such things as telling the homosexual agenda to go somewhere else.
