(CNSNews.com) – Granting amnesty to illegal immigrants would cost $6.3 trillion, according to a new report by the Heritage Foundation. “Unlawful immigration and amnesty for current unlawful immigrants can pose large fiscal costs for U.S. taxpayers,” states the report by Robert Rector and Jason Richwine, Ph.D.
Not only would the federal deficit increase, but the cost of benefits and services to millions of newly minted citizens would reach nearly $10 trillion.
“Over a lifetime, the former unlawful immigrants together would receive $9.4 trillion in government benefits and services and pay $3.1 trillion in taxes,” the report states. “They would generate a lifetime fiscal deficit (total benefits minus total taxes) of $6.3 trillion.”
Rector and Richwine took into account direct benefits, such as Social Security, Medicare, unemployment insurance, and workers’ compensation, as well as means-tested welfare benefits, public education costs and population-based services in reaching their findings.
Heritage President Jim Demint will unveil the new study at a press conference at 11:30 on Monday.

Wondering if that number includes the immense growth of many government agencies to deal with the sudden influx of people. I’m projecting it’s going to be at least 100 to 200 thousand new government workers just to start.

One of the big themes proponents have repeatedly stated in the ‘big lie’ fashion is the benefits should they become citizens. The lie was big, the lie was bold but the lie was easily seen for what it was.
Rubio outright lied about this aspect of the bill going on show after show repeating his big lie.
They could of crafted a bill that excludes low wage workers likely to drain more taxpayer $$$$, but Dems would never agree to that. Dems and unions want (demand) more and more poor dependent on government voting. They cry about too many poor in this country but they want more and more as long as they vote.
This same problem was pointed out by Heritage in 2007.

The nonpartisan Center for Immigration Services calls the money “slush funds” that tax dollars go to the same groups that helped craft the legislation and that the spending appears to have no cap or oversight. “It’s virtually a blank check,” Jon Feere, a Center for Immigration Services legal policy analyst, told FoxNews.com. “And the groups that helped draft this bill can now give themselves taxpayer dollars.”
EXHIBIT B Clearly, some (or all) of the reform provisions were written by salivating Third Worlders--and their Fifth Columns on US soil----greedily contemplating exchanging massive foreign aid checks for latino votes.

LET'S LOOK AT THE ETHNIC SOLIDARITY TAX-EXEMPTS (1) The National Association of Latino Electoral and Appointed Officials, (2) La Raza, (3) Voto Latino, (4) The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, (5) state Hispanic Federations,(6) latino PAC's, etc ,etc, etc (all pushing free-for-all amnesty)
We need to see these n/p's financial records-----copies of (1) checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) bank account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including e-mail, employment contracts, loan agreements, (8) any other books or records.
Scrutinize n/p bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) request for withdrawals, (D) offsore activity. Also lists of monies n/p paid to (a) brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers, and the like.

REMEDY Taxpayers could sue banks holding tax-exempt monies that cover-up tax fraud. Under the Bank Secrecy Act passed by Congress, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering, tax evasion, govt fraud and other financial crimes.
“The Bank Secrecy Act was enacted to protect the tax-paying public from harm by identifying and detecting criminal enterprises, including those engaged in govt fraud, tax evasion, and money laundering," explains the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit.
Just wait till all their enormous families arrive to freeload after the illegals get amnesty. These budget-busing numbers are way too low.

1. The purpose of immigration is to benefit the American People. All this emphasis on the 11 million is misplaced. How do the proposed laws benefit the American People?
2. All these progressives (donkey and elephant) pushed citizenship for the "undocumented Americans". Has anyone actually asked the illegal invaders if they want American citizenship? And further, has anyone asked them if they want to become Americans, assimilated to the American culture and traditions?
Obviously, neither question is ever, ever asked. The American People have to start asking these questions, maybe in Townhall meetings or on the street of these politicians and record the session. It would obviously be devastating to have this on video.
