I just posted a rant on the Quinn & Rose thread (by the way - GREAT interview on their show a couple of weeks ago!) about a coworker who watches the MSM and has NO CLUE about Ben Ghazi and about the Kermit Gosnell situation! They’ve done a very good job keeping the general population insulated from news about those news stories.

Oh, and my sympathies to you for being subjected to MSNBC during your hospital visit. Thanks for reporting about your experience!

their mental illness really hits a new perspective.

Thanks for sharing.

My thought has it that mental illness is a matter of human breeding. "Breed" being dictionary described as "to bring up, train, or educate (bred to be a gentleman)."

There is a family who owns a van in this part of town who has painted it with billboard-style advertisements for MSNBC. Their lineup will “blow your mind” in their words. Truth in advertising, no doubt. Don’t know if the network is paying them to do this or if they’re true believers (though the Medicare for All bumper sticker does give me some clue)

It is astounding that an adult who watches any news at all could be in the dark about Benghazi and Gosnell. That's frightening. And thanks for comments on my interview with Q and R. They are great. I've talked to Rose a good bit off the air, and she's smart as a whip and very genuinely nice.

It starts with the PC Police, then expands into physical force. Americans are enslaving themselves for what little they can get in entitlements. If the younger generation doesn’t wake up soon, America will become the country that every one left to find individual opportunity for success. It amazes me that people will give away individual rights for a secure but lower standard of living. Immigration reform will only increase the masses of takers. With declining tax revenues from income, taxes on assets will be increased. Essentially late arrivers to the US will look at what has been accumulated over generations and say they are entitled to a share just by being within our geographic border. Elder Americans will probably be both taxed and denied medical procedures that will extend life and our country will morph into a socialistic state.

They are all such infantile thinkers, so arrogant and yet so ignorant. Pseudo intellectuals on display.

RE :”I have an excuse for watching it....what’s yours??? :)”

Because I have learned from experience to not count on their opponents like talk radio hosts to keep me informed on what Dems are saying and doing, anymore than I trust Larry and Maddow to tell me what the GOP saying and doing.

Its kind of like asking why we post what they say here.

If I believed Rush last year I would have thought 2012 would be another 2010, and that MCcain would win in 2008.

Alternatively those depending on MSNBC in 2010 were surprised that Dems took a beating.

Saw your post yesterday that you were stuck somewhere and forced to watch MSNBC. Was wondering about the circumstance.

Hope you're injuries were not too severe.

But....why did the ER have MSNBC and not a genuine news station?

I hope you complained.

As disgusting as Ellen Degenerate is — it’s better than MSNBC.

I have learned the hard way to do my own research.

You would be surprised what people, even many of those here, don’t hear.

You have to understand that MSNBC is an agitprop arm of the Democratic party. They no longer even worry about the semblance of journalism as they bring in high level DNC operatives to represent the channel. Propagandists know that they must stay on message and continue repeating lie after lie until you lose track of what is really going on. The bigger the lie, the more shocking the lie, the better the effect on the gullible.

GE/Comcast/NBC/MSNBC is a well ran propaganda arm for the extreme left to redefine and change America as we know it. The good news is no one watches them and they will eventually put themselves out of business while draining the resources of the billionaire supporters who back them.

Conservatives who carp about the abuses of logic we witness in the MSM on a daily basis really need to try to understand how this state of affairs came to be. If liberals have hegemony in the media, then we need to ask ourselves how we lost that hegemony to them. It’s that simple.

Do you realize how insulting the word “carp” is in your thesis? Not to mention misguided?

It is however, amusingly disttractive from the real word for democrap politicians, and their newsmedia propagandists .....
