Boehner calls for release of Benghazi emails as pressure grows on administration

Pressure on the Obama administration to release more information about the Benghazi attack grew Thursday, as House Speaker John Boehner demanded officials turn over emails pertaining to the controversial "talking points" and another top Republican appealed for more whistle-blowers to come forward.

On the heels of a dramatic hearing where three whistle-blowers testified, Fox News has learned that former Vice President Dick Cheney on Thursday, on the Hill for a meeting with House Republicans, also told lawmakers: "I think Hillary (Clinton) should be subpoenaed if necessary."

The comments and developments signal that Republicans will continue to press for answers on the deadly Sept. 11 attack. Despite arguments from Democrats that the hearing was not nearly as shocking as Republicans made it out to be, GOP lawmakers said it raised troubling questions that need to be investigated.

"The truth shouldn't be hidden from the American people behind a White House firewall," Boehner said Thursday. "Four Americans lost their lives in this terrorist attack. Congress will continue to investigate this issue, using all of the resources at our disposal."

Boehner specifically urged the Obama administration to make public a set of internal emails that some lawmakers had been able to review but not keep.

One of the emails apparently showed a top State Department official saying a group affiliated with Islamic terrorists was responsible for the strike. Separate emails, though, allegedly depict the White House and State Department pressing lower-level officials to remove references to terrorism in talking points about the attacks.

Based on those talking points, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice would go on five Sunday talk shows shortly after the attacks to claim they were triggered by protests over an anti-Islam film. Top officials would later claim the flawed assessment was based on the best intelligence

The government won’t give the names of the people who were there.

And like I said before, the whistleblowers from this article are actually in the Libyan government - saying they had no idea there were so many Americans in Benghazi.

This matter of head count is very important. Who was there and why were they there?

I stepped out for some errands and Geraldo had Rep Molloney (?sp) on and she was claiming the Amb Pickering wanted to testify and was rebuffed. Geraldo pressed her as to the veracity of that and she insisted she had spoken to Pickering this morning.

Anyone hear of this?

I have no doubt God is with us.

I honestly lack that confidence. I do pray for mercy for having squandered the blessing.

One article I read said that the ARB authors had previously refused to testify but that Pickering had a change of heart lately. So if she spoke to him this morning she might have gotten that he was willing to testify now.

Do you have a link or reference that tells under what authority Boehner could appoint a special federal investigator/prosecutor? What I’ve read all suggests that the AG is the only one who can do it.

The Obama regime has broken countless laws in order to hide information, but the only places you will hear about it is on the “crazy conspiracy” websites. That’s because the media has defined as “crazy conspiracies” anything that suggests lawlessness on the part of the regime - regardless of what evidence points to that.

Part of that has been threats. When these whistleblowers talk about retaliation, that is standard operating procedure for this regime. We have a signed statement by a witness, the handwritten notes from a secretary who was there, and multiple witness accounts saying that the cable news network heads, as well as 2 large radio network heads, told their online personalities on at least 2 different occasions (once in October 2008 and once between November 2008 and February 2009) that if they or anybody on their shows talked about Obama’s ineligibility, their career would be over and the lives of them and their family members was questionable. Doug Hagmann reported on that and Lt Mike Zullo (commander of Sheriff Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse) has confirmed that the threats were made. Zullo confirmed that at least one of the threatened people fled the country out of fear for her life and the life of her child. Doug Hagmann tracked down the source of the threats to George Soros, Rahm Emanuel, and (IIRC) Bob Bauer - who told the media heads that if anybody reported on the eligibility problem the FCC and FEC would annihilate them after the election.

I’ve lost half of my notes so I’d have to listen to the recording of Hagmann again, but I know CNN and Fox were 2 of the networks that were threatened, and that one of the networks was not mentioned as having been threatened. I’m wondering if that is why Sharyl Atkisson has been able to do reporting on both Fast & Furious and on Benghazi as well - because the threats later extended to other issues as well as to the eligibility issue. Glenn Beck reportedly left Fox because Fox refused to provide security for his secretary who was receiving threats daily. That was in response to his reporting on Soros and Obama’s communist and Islamist connections - after Beck had dutifully mocked the “birthers” as required to buy himself a continued contract with Fox.

What has been going on - which makes it not feel like this place is America any more - is Chicago thuggery. The whole system has been taken hostage. And the reason they can get away with it is because the “conservative” media is also hostage, and has been forced to ridicule those independent sources who have brought forward EVIDENCE. The Soros/Obama thugs have immunized us against ever taking evidence seriously even if somebody has the courage to expose themselves to ridicule by bringing forward the evidence, because even the “conservatives” will call the issue a “crazy conspiracy theory” if it gets anywhere near the truth.

We are in a very, very serious situation. But you will only hear anything about it on the “crazy” sites, because anybody who says they have evidence of regime wrong-doing is labeled as “crazy”. That’s Alinsky to a T, and Soros is a master at it.

Just one other thing I’ll add also. Larry Sellin overheard one of the 2012 R Presidential primary candidates explain that nobody will touch the eligibility issue because they know it goes WAY deeper than anybody is willing to delve. IOW, they know there is deep treason going on, but they are afraid of what will happen if they expose that fact. They know there are powerful players who have been able to get this level of deceit and lawlessness, and they may be afraid of what those players are capable of doing if anybody gets close to exposing them.

Mull that in your mind as you realize that we had Hamza the son of Osama Bin Laden tackled by bystanders and the Boston police, the FBI searched his apartment and took out a bunch of evidence, he was classified as a “known terrorist”..... and somebody single-handedly changed his classification, Michelle Obama visited him personally, and he was sent out of the country so nothing could be done with him.

Whistleblowers within the system (not sure whether FBI, CIA, or both) gave evidence of this to 10 members of Congress (including Louie Gohmert) and to Glenn Beck, who gave the information to all of the media companies saying the story needed to come from them. Reporters wrote up articles and were told by their editors that they were not allowed to publish those articles.

We caught Bin Laden’s son red-handed in the killings of Americans including an 8-year-old boy waiting for his Dad to cross the finish line, and Obama’s regime sent him along as if everything was fine and hid the truth from the public. The media all went along with it.

This is the regime that “lost” over 20,000 of Ghadaffi’s Manpads and refused to let anybody go help Tyrone Woods as he painted targets from the top of the Benghazi annex - Woods who was in the process of trying to figure out where those Manpads had gone. 20,000 Manpads is enough to take down a 747 every day for the next 54 years.

There is way, way more that I could say but I don’t have time right now. Suffice to say that Obama is a foreign enemy combatant in our White House, he has filled the system with his “players” and threatened anybody who is not one of his “players”. He and his owner, Soros, have always aligned themselves with world communists and world Islamists, and they are getting ever more careless about letting their alliances show to the world. Probably because they know the “credible” media (including “conservatives”) will call crazy anybody who connects the dots.

Like I said, we are in a very, very serious situation, and the very existence of this nation is at stake. Glenn Beck has said that loudly and clearly, although he can’t give the details to pull it all together because then he would be considered a “crazy conspiracist”.

The good news is that people within the system are beginning to see the danger - I think they are probably angered by the stark realization of Obama’s alliance with, and cover-up for, Bin Laden’s son Hamza - and are beginning to risk their careers and lives to reveal what’s going on.

OK, who's the wise-ass who woke up Boehner?

He's tough-as-nails on a Thursday, but after his normal weekend activities immersed in ethanol power studies, by Monday he'll have completely forgotten all about it and do whatever Barry wants.

Tell me again why this well-dressed dipsomaniac is Speaker.

Fox has a news item where they go into Pickering having a change of heart about testifying:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/09/issa-seeks-more-whistle-blowers-after-dramatic-benghazi-hearing/

This article characterizes it differently, but it is still impossible to say whether Pickering wants to “come clean” or contradict what was testified to yesterday.
