Charles Ramsey is a true hero. And he is funny as hell! If you listen carefully, he’s quite astute, mixes in a pretty good vocabulary with pithy and descriptive colloquialisms and idiom. He paints a very vivid picture with just a few words.

Quite frankly, this guy could have a career as a standup comedian.

He did a great job and doesn’t think himself a hero, just what anyone would have done..... How many stories have we read where people don’t want to get involved? He DID! He is being maligned because he dared to speak in a non PC voice about a Pretty White Girl... Sounds refreshing to me.

Yes, agreed, but the fact remains he did what NO ONE ELSE HAD DONE in all those years.

He IS a hero, let us appreciate him for what he did.

He freed those women. Nobody else did that.

This has been a scary story.

I, myself, have a family member who “disapeared” a long time ago.

It is one thing to think your sister/daughter/whoever is dead, it is quite another to think she is a captive in a Cleveland basement.

Of course, no in-depth analysis of Mr. Ramsey's commentary can go without mentioning his reference to " big testicles" and the "pretty white girl", just to show how Mr. Ramsey's world has been tainted by our white racist stereotypes.

I’m reminded of the guy who saved President Ford when that woman tried to shoot him. And then someone had to “out” him as a homosexual and we all got to read about it in the papers. The Media needs to learn that sometimes the less said, the better.

The dishwater media seeks to build people up “he’s a hero!” only to then turn around and trash them “he’s a former(?) abuser himself!!!” all in the span of 2 days.

Keep it up, pressitutes and no one will stick their neck out to do anything again. Too much chance of personal exposure.

It’s been enough to get some people to not run for higher office. Now THAT is racist. People of all colors are happy the girls were saved. Charles Ramsey is a colorful character (no pun intended) and people liked the way he spoke. It brought a little bit of levity into a horrible situation.

Who’s this author to say how he should act?
