New details about the Obama administration’s initial story-line on the Benghazi attack are raising additional questions about top-level efforts to downplay terrorism, with one report showing a State Department official pushed to delete a section that could have been used to “beat up” her department.

The fresh reports have surfaced two days after three whistle-blowers testified on Capitol Hill about the Benghazi attack. One of them sharply challenged the administration’s decision to describe the attack out of the gate as a protest gone wrong.

ABC News reported Friday that, despite administration claims that the flawed description reflected the best intelligence at the time, the talking points that led to the statement were revised 12 times. …

As we citizens observe the effort of our political leaders in the next few days and weeks, we need to pay very special attention and look for instances where the Media trivializes and marginalizes the issues as the facts continue to come out.

What happens next, if history is to repeat itself, the WH will come clean with a scape goat and admit some missteps. There will be SHOCK. Then the media accepts that it wouldn’t have made any difference. Citizens will wain and be satisfied that a few idiots made some bad decisions on their own (rogue). It’s been dealt with and all should move on.

The media will get an opportunity to put closure on it and they will.

Sandy Burglar?
Lewinski?
Gun running?
Pigford?

There is a pattern. The liberal media will finally get one onerous gasp of shocking truth out to the masses and then spin any fall out by creating a premise based on something trivial. Then the focus will start to go toward militant GOP members out for political blood and the RINOs will cower and quiet down about it.

May you live to see the present administration face justice. And if it’s sooner rather than later, may your life go on well beyond that time.

Apparently no concern that truth would be killed, just the reputation of the State Department, as if that could ever get any worse.......

It has gone beyond disgust for me.

Is there no crime Her Heinous and His Dishonor can commit that will finally provoke action against them?

“....they would hurt State...”

“State”, i.e., Herself the Cold and Joyless. This is the interest that has to be protected at all costs. As presumptive heir apparent to the 2016 Democrat Presidential nomination (and therefore, by implication, the next occupant of what has become the White Hut), the media HAS to close ranks and put a “cone of silence” around everything coming out of the committee hearings.

Obviously, the genie is struggling very hard to get out of that bottle, so in addition to a conspiracy to NOT report any of the findings, a barrage of ad hominem attacks on the Republicans serving on the committee is flying in every direction.

To quote from another Congressional hearing from years ago, “Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last?”

And in another scene taken from the Watergate hearings, Senator Sam Ervin quoted Mark Twain’s injunction, “The truth is very precious; use it sparingly,”

Ervin said of Nixon, “He used it sparingly.”

Truth is getting very sparing use in the current responses of the Current Regime to the Benghazi incident.
