Alinsky Rule #13: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
In 2010 Republicans thundered into the majority in the House of Representatives, making historic gains by a proportion not seen in more than 70 years. The party won more than 60 seats. This was completely due to the enthusiasm of the Tea Party movement in response to the overreach of the Democratic leaders.
Democrats and the Obama Administration knew they had to stop the Tea Party to win in 2012 so they organized, made their plans and took action. They planned their attack based on Alinskys 13th rule of radicalism: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Democrats and the corrupt media isolated the Tea Party. They said Tea Party members were racists, radicals and Nazis.

It was an all-out assault.
And. just to be sure they were not a problem, the Obama Administration and IRS tied Tea Party groups up in paperwork and audits.
Today the Internal Revenue Service admitted that they targeted conservative groups for additional reviews during the 2012 elections At least 75 groups were targeted. Organizations were singled out because they included the words tea party or patriot in their applications for tax-exempt status.
It was a brilliant strategy. The Tea Party was not a factor and Obama won a second term thanks Alinskys Rules for Radicals.
I don’t understand why they admitted what they did. Is it to instill fear that we can expect the same thing with our medical records and enforcement of obamacare?
Someone was probably about to blow the whistle.
Probably to,minimize liability. It’s likely one of the affected parties has gathered enough evidence to sue.
I thought about that. I may be too jaded but I find it difficult to believe that any IRS staff would actually be punished given all the corruption in the present administration.
Is this something that Holder would have to agree to prosecute?
The GOP establishment is in perpetual rectal defilade!
Government agencies are still accountable in civil court cases.
You betcha he did.
We let them win.
We beat ourselves.
Thanks, I hadn’t really thought about it that way. I suppose there are judges who might be willing to say the IRS acted inappropriately.
I would agree...there’s probably some emails sitting there, and someone was demanding either a promotion or a deal...getting nothing instead, and have been preparing to move the emails to some news source.
To just stand and admit this...you look extremely foolish and juvenile.
Someone is going to lay out this entire story in a newspaper, and what we know is barely the tip of the iceberg.
My hope is that, if it is a tea party getting ready to sue, that it will share its information and strategy with all other tea parties and that the IRS, and other government agencies will have to defend itself for years to come.
I’m tired of hearing about Alinsky. His book is a poorly written exercise in mental masturbation, not “The Art of War”. The man is the most overrated thinker of the 20th century.
None of Saul’s “rules” work without having a corrupt press leading a media-obsessed citizenry of lazy, incurious sheep around by the nose. And Saul didn’t make any of that happen.
Antonio Gramsci was the real evil genius of the left. Alinsky was nothing but a Chicago hack with an inflated sense of self worth.
We beat ourselves.
That's it in a nutshell. We weren't overwhelmed by any great strategy. Too many of us lost sight of what mattered for too long... and we lost it all.
Our story was told many times over in the Old Testament. It's not like we weren't warned.
>> It was a brilliant strategy. The Tea Party was not a factor and Obama won a second term thanks Alinskys Rules for Radicals.
Hail the brilliant strategy the day war consists of a single battle.
Somebody needs to go to jail. This Obama regime is the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States. Now that’s HISTORICAL.
That’s just it. Too many conservatives allowed the imperfections of good candidates to get in the way of voting.
With about 70% of the country polling conservative on issues, the only way we can lose is if we defeat ourselves.
This is the reason my local TEA Party groups chose in 2009 not to incorporate and try to get a tax exempt status.
