Minnesota has a long history of discrimination. First it was the Norwegians who needed protected from the Swedes ~ which precipitated the first ethnic specific civil rights law in America.

Now the indigenes, who were supposed to be sent to reservations by the federales in the late 1880s ~ so much for that idea eh!

Now they claim to speak Spanish. Always something.

Here, let me help:

“Too many things have happened to me there that I don’t even know how to explain it,” said Auraria custodian Bertha Ribota.
Ribota said she was injured at work because she couldn’t read a warning sign that was in English.
“If I could speak English I wouldn’t have the problems that exist,” said Ribota.
             - - -
“What is sort of a neutral business practice, that they speak English on campus and it’s an English-only campus has a discriminatory impact on this group of workers,” said attorney Tim Markham.
             - - -
The Auraria Campus believes employees should understand some basic English.
“It’s not our goal to provide every document translated or every conversation translated. Our employees are expected to interact with members of the public and that interaction we expect them to be able to understand English”

No mention in article of visa/citizenship status .. curious, that.

It would seem that there should be an English comprehension test that is a safety in the work place requirement.

If you can’t understand english, you can’t work safe and are there fore not suitable. No english is an occupational hazard, a defect.

I’m fed up with this. Enough with being Mexico’s personal ATM and dumping ground for their half literate and low skilled people.

Not being allowed to beat the living crap out of people like Timberly, here....is discriminatory against my sense of calm.

Fine them for voilating US laws and pack them back to Mexico where they belong. Problem solved and taxpayer dollars saved. Fine the college for hiring illegals.
