A Baltimore City police officer and a woman have been arrested on criminal charges including prostitution and human trafficking, the Maryland State Police said.
Authorities said the Maryland State Police Child Recovery Unit was working their normal proactive child prostitution/human trafficking operation Thursday when they found a young-looking woman posting on an Internet escort website they said advertises for prostitution.
Police said they singled out one ad in the erotic section and arranged a meeting via text.
Undercover police then waited for 19-year-old Marissa Braun, who called herself Lexi, to arrive at a hotel room in the area around Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. She went inside while her husband, police said, waited outside in the parking lot.

Suspended WITHOUT pay. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Usually these cretins are suspended (also known as administrative leave) WITH pay and after a prolonged “free” vacation are given some sort of official admonishment.
Of course it might turn out that way anyhow with the cretin given retroactive pay.
I wonder of Owe’Mallice is proud of these guys like he was proud of the prison director after a bunch of his “officers” were knocked up by an imprisoned drug kingpin and were convicted of shoving drugs and weapons up their hoo-haa’s.
Police said she told them she was working for her alleged husband, 31-year-old Lamin Manneh. Police found Manneh in the parking lot of the same hotel.
Court documents said Manneh admitted what his wife told police.
This guy must be shooting for that stupidest cops ever trophy.
Something any cop should know who is trying this sort of thing is the first words out of a prostitutes mouth when she meets a prospective customer is “ Are you a cop?”. The police are required to answer this question truthfully. He should have taught his wife this the first day.
Second thing he should know is if you are being questioned by the police about a crime you may have committed (he should know that what he was doing was a crime) is refuse to answer with out a lawyer for your defense present. AKA never admit to anything.
This guy must be one of the barely literate affirmative action cops.
We have seen more and more of just this sort of thing and it's getting overwhelming.

I thought it was going to be like one of the plots of the new “Bates Motel”, this story is not too unusual, other than the pimp being a cop, which is pathetic.
If I were them, and assuming they really are married, I’d probably try and plead not guilty by reason of this is how my spouse and I like to keep our marriage strong.
