Good questions.
1) Benghazi-—yes. First presser question was asked by Julie Pace (AP) about the IRS and Benghazi. After he gave her the finger, he flew by IRS with a bs buy-time answer (first learned about it on Friday...LOL)
Obama spent almost 6 minutes on Benghazi. “No there there....political circus...sideshow...old news.” He’s scared. They have lost control of Benghazi.
2) To get out in front of the scandal. He knew IRS scandal was about to hit, and there is more to come. He has to protect IRS Obamacare.
The Obama Adm ALWAYS kills several birds with one stone.
3) My intuition says the biggest reason is yet to be uncovered.
One possibility-—This may be the launch of “reformation” of the IRS, of our tax system (to our detriment, of course)...never let a crisis go to waste.
They have had a couple of years to prepare for this IRS scandal.

I also think there is more to this than distracting from Benghazi. What better way to clean out the IRS management and replace it with Obamacare enforcers? Never let a crisis go to waste.
yep....they do everything for a reason...this is not something that “just happened” to leak out. The only thing missing is Valerie Jarret’s signiture on the talking points the media is following on the IRS situation.
Rush’s jabber about “protecting the IRS” is nonsense. The last thing they have to worry about is the IRS being taken down, hell Obamacare expands its scope and power enormously and after the SCOTUS did what they did, the left knows it will be implemented before any Republican majority can even think about repealing it. It’s as silly for Rush to worry about protecting the IRS as protecting the Dept. of Education or anything else that is just as hated.
They are lazy, incompetent fools that relied on the media for cover. No time to prepare when you use your whole time planning on how to screw the taxpayers.
