Republicans seek blame on Benghazi rather than solutions
Washington Post ^ | May 12, 2013 | Jackson Diehl

Remember the scandal of “the 16 words”? If you do, you’ve probably been inside the Beltway too long, literally or figuratively.

Most of what Wilson said was later proved to be grossly exaggerated, or simply false. But that didn’t stop Democrats and partisan media from devoting years to conspiracy-spinning and attempts to pin political and criminal responsibility on Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney or Karl Rove.

A decade later, we have the right’s answer to Joe Wilson: Benghazi.

The common thread here is not just the climate of intense partisanship in which media and politicians from the left dismiss what the right insists is a scandal of historic proportions — or vice-versa. It is the diversion of what should be serious, bipartisan discussion about government failings.

To be fair, the House Republican investigation of Benghazi also addresses the more substantive issues of the State Department’s failure to adequately secure its Benghazi facilities and Obama’s lack of “a credible national security posture in the region.”

So what if they are? Where is it written that Democrats may engage in witch hunts to destroy their political enemies but Republicans cannot?
What goes around comes around. After what the Dems. did to Bush, does any sane person expect us to just laugh this off?
There is blood in the water, lots of it and we have the opportunity to destroy or severely damage not one, but two very dangerous politicians before another election. The Republicans would be fools to play nice now.

We have a responsibility to support and protect those that are employed in oversea or foreign positions, to attempt to trivialize this whole tragic attack/murder( in truth) ... causing the death of several Americans. It is shameful and those responsible deserve to be removed and censored. None of this transfer of guilt onto others.

God help us, Forgive our sins, and lead us to restoring our values and faith, returning to Thee and Thy Word, in Jesus name, amen.

I'm not exactly sure how one could offer solutions over a classified gun running to Jihadis’ efforts to overthrow and destabilize the middle east carried out by the Muslim brotherhood via an American president who is convinced the executive branch is equalled by no other.

I’m sure the old dog Republicans are just waiting for just a little more pressure from the MSM so as they can find a good reason to fold like a cheap suit.

I think Obama is President-in-Name-Only. He never takes responsibility for what he (or his appointed group President) does.

I love the WaPo Protect Obama/Clinton shuck and jive.

The only way to solve the “problems of Benghazi” is find out which group of incompetentnt and unethical people are responsible for malfeasance and remove them from authority positions where they can continue to do further damage.

This fundamentally requires placing of blame on the people responsible.

Unfortunately, the blame resides at the highest levels of government , and the WaPo wants to protect those people who include people with last names like Obama and Clinton

” - - - There’s no way to fix this. - - - “

But, but, Benghazi Coward B. Hussein Obama just now said at his presser that concerning the IRS Punitive Taxing Scandal, and the Benghazi Massacre Cover Up Scandal, that he would do the following:

” - - - fix the system and make sure that it never happens again. - - - “

Why, this punishment bypass could be used for all crimes!

No more jail time for bank robbers, gang and terrorist shooters and bombers, violations of the US Constitution, etc, etc!

Just make sure to FIX THE SYSTEM BY PASSING LAWS SO NOBODY GETS PUNISHED, AND THUS THE CRIME WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

This will truly be a Political Sideshow Cornerstone for The Obamanation!

________

Puzzle for the day: If Zipper Boy Clinton claims that it all depends on what ones definition of “is” is, then can our sorry RINOs document that Benghazi Massacre Mastermind B. Hussein Obama assertion that there is no “there” there ?

Would someone in this regime tell me why they left those four heroes twisting in the wind to die?

Would someone in this regime tell me why Stevens was in Benghazi in the first place?

Unfortunately, I know the answers. And imho, those answers would show this regime committed treason.

After all this time what difference can it possibly make?

What the Left is trying to prevent is the idea that "blame" leads to dismissal.

Why would anyone in their right mind keep a person in charge whose actions led to such disastrous results? The answer is they wouldn't, which is why the Left is trying to shame Republicans into staying away from the idea.

And they feel pretty confident in their ability to use shame as a weapon against Republicans.

The Washington Post acts like governance of the country is some kind of crosstown high school rivalry and their team “Is better than them other guys no matter what!” It’s not. Ultimately, governance in the foreign policy area concerns the very lives of millions of Americans. It is childish in the extreme for them to continue to support this incompetent, criminal administration just because “That’s our team, right or wrong.”

Republicans seek blame on Benghazi rather than solutions

Embarrassingly ridiculous...The solution is more competent and less corrupt leadership. When there is a major attack underway, you order in military assets to counter the attack - you don't order "stand down." The hearings are to identify why this was done and who was responsible - even if there are "solutions" to be sought you have to complete an investigation to know. And what is now being investigated is not just the incident itself, but the subsequent cover-up - what "solutions" are there for the Republicans to have for a cover-up?

No, they're on the right track.

The solution is to get rid of the Jug-eared Jihadi, the Kenyan Communist, the Mohammedan Manchild, the disease-ridden packer in the White House.

Americans want answers! they want to know who done it! Who gave the stand down order—what was going on in that place? We need to find the dude who have the order and send him packing in disgrace—even if he’s a fellow living in the White House. Obama could have come clean on this at the get go—he didn’t that makes him part of the problem. Let the truth be told!

” - - - fix the system and make sure that it never happens again. - - - “

All they need is a little more time.
They fixed health care.
They are busy fixing the immigration system right now.
They are trying to fix private firearm ownership.

Solutions come only after finding out the truth of what happened. The truth of what happened can’t come out as long as the Administration keeps stonewalling. Too simple for MSM to grasp.
