In other words, the thugs beat the crap out of the truck driver, but he defied them and delivered his cargo to the location. Therefore, since they didn't succeed in dissuading the truck driver, there was no harm, no foul.

Rush said IRS had to be cleansed in readiness for its key role in implementing and enforcing Obamanoncare; therefore, the Obamanation had to be critical of IRS’s targeting of conservatives and conservative organizations, even though he, 0bumble, approved.
Maybe I’m just being optimistic, but I have a feeling that the tide has turned today. Between Gosnell’s murder conviction and the media’s sudden discovery of abuses by this administration, I feel that there may still be a chance for our country to recover.

My Spidey-sense tells me that the dinosaur media is reporting on IRSgate because - while embarrassing - this scandal cannot conceivably be tied to either Obama or Hitlery. It speaks more to the corruption of government as a whole rather than personal corruption, and the IRS is an easy scapegoat because no one likes them.
The dinosaur media is ignoring Benghazigate because there are several events which increasingly point to direct personal involvement by both Obama and Hillary... and these events are not only legacy-wreckers, they may be prosecutable offenses as well.

My first thought when the IRS scandal broke was “This is news? Didn’t we all KNOW this?”
Just a diversion from Benghazi and the Amnesty bill .......
A "tip of the iceberg" view of the viseral reaction in '10 to the outrage in '08. Imagine how even more decisive the wins would have been had the government not illegally trampled on the rights of its citizens.

Shows my age a little bit.:) I went to school back in the day when we were required to memorize this poem. Truthfully, I had forgotten that it was related to the Civil War and only remembered the sentiment of the flag and what it stands for. And the fiesty old lady.
I am a little worried that I can remember several stanzas from a poem memorized 50 years ago...and am going to have to go on a major search and retrieve mission to find my car keys that I laid down somewhere an hour ago. :D
My problem was, my dad used to mess me up by reciting parodies of most of the stuff I had to memorize.
I don't think he ever parodied "Barbara Frietchie", but here's one I do remember:
The boy stood on the burning deck,
Eating peanuts by the peck.
His father called; he would not go,
Because he loved those peanuts so.

Not only that but how many conservatives were audited personally.
A guy who was active in our TEA party locally was in the hospital receiving cancer treatment and I don’t know who, raided his house, arrested his wife as an illegal. They arrested her with no legal reason to believe that she was illegal and she wasn’t. He feels like they did as much damage as possible in their search for nothing.
