The targeting of conservatives cannot pass constitutional muster by Daniel Foster.
Rare among left-of-center commentators many of whom quickly, if briefly, condemned the IRSs targeting of conservative groups Ezra Klein has penned a conflicted defense of the practice. Klein says that the IRS needs some kind of test that helps them weed out groups that deserve extra scrutiny in their applications for tax-exempt status. Although he says this test should be studiously, unquestionably neutral and applied to groups all along the political spectrum, he also admits that it will by nature be a bit impressionistic in its search for shortcuts. In the current case, Klein says, the IRS flagged groups with the words tea party or patriot in their names, as well as groups critical of government or the debt, because there had been a surge in applications tied to the rise of conservative grassroots activism. So, like Willie Sutton robbing banks, [IRS auditors] were going where the action was.

This is government by the people, the land of the free?
this is tyranny. U.S. no longer a free country
Abolish the criminal IRS
Impeach Obama
Abolish the IRS
But dont forget that they are trying to sneak pass an Amnesty destroying bill through Congress( call Congress)
Imprison Obama and the IRS workers .These actions by the IRS were illegal unconstitutional
Repeal the income tax( 16th amendment) and replace that sorely needed revenue for fake global warming studies by replacing the income tax with a tax on China imports

Can we profile young Muslim men for terrorism now? Or is that still not OK?
Nothing this regime does passes constitutional muster, but they still do it.
Ezra Klein (klein means small in German, a fitting name for this little guy) needs only to apply his logic to his own case. What test needs to be applied beforehand to ensure his writings are acceptable?
The IRS needs to post the rules, then crack knuckles with transgressors. As it is, they blatantly tried to fix the election for their boy, another little one.
It's government punishing citizens for daring to disagree with them. History shows us how things end when a government does this. All you have to do is read about almost any Communist country and their failure to convince everyone that their bad plan is a good one.
It should be OK, since that’s where “all the action is.”
Ezra Klein is the scum of the earth, why he hasn’t been banned from FR is beyond me:
Every single JournOlist will be brought back into the fold and put into campaign mode to salvage Obama’s second term.
Klein is a punk ass bitch if he thinks he’ll get away with this much longer as a career path.
Alinsky...Rules For Radicals -
* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
TACTICS FOR TOTALITARIANS
TREASON - entrenched unaccountable bureaucrats (socialists) elevating to TOTALITARIAN tactics for the powers that be when the time is right.
DISMANTLE the IRS.
TREASON - continuous, PRE-MEDITATED, agenda-driven, in-your-face, media-complicit, AGENCY-ABETTED, representative-enabled, ongoing...
It’s tyranny. It’s using the strong arm of the government to force thought-compliance.
The litany of excuses by this administration is a rip-off of Bart Simpson.
What scares me even more than all this is the level of incompetency repeatedly shown by this agency. As Americans we deserve a lot better than what we have and with a more efficient and balanced tax system, which will focus more on ‘paying the Bills” as opposed to being used as an instrument for instituting Social Justice or Social Engineering.
That's my two cents ....
“Due to these excess a resolution for the abolishment of the IRS must be maintained, by every freedom loving American from all walks of life, by continuing to pressure our Representatives to come up with a solution.”
Count on the Republican Congress to get right on this.
