Internal Revenue Service to investigate conservative groups? Was the IRS to read between the lines of his request?
A keen observation by View from a Height blogger Joshua Sharf may have tied Colorado’s Democratic U.S. Senator Bennet, who now chairs the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, to the most recent Internal Revenue Service scandal. Late last week, the IRS came under scrutiny for targeting conservative groups, such as the Richmond Tea Party, for inappropriate intrusion into their business dealings.
According to the DailyMail, the Richmond Tea Party received a letter in January 2012 asking that they complete a 55-question document that requested such information as donors, contributors, and grantors from every year the organization had existed. It also asked for the names of volunteers with the organization.
The timing of the requests from the IRS, some in the early months of 2012, was particularly interesting in light of Sen. Bennet’s call for additional scrutiny of tax exempt organizations.

Colorado is starting to make California look like a red state.
We need term limits. These people become entrenched and corrupt and this is a good example. It’s our fault for re-electing them time and time again. That needs to change.
As we scratch down through the massive pile of stinking manure known as the Obama administration, we find connections to Democrat senators. Imagine that. No doubt somewhere in that pile, Dingy Harry Reid will be turned up, given his prominent role in this corrupt government, so don’t stop digging, Congressman Issa.
Just minutes ago, the White Hut announced that THEY didn’t give The IRS “criteria” for excessive harrassment.
I guess general guidance from the White Hut and DemocRAT Senators’ specific direction was quite good enough.
We will now see if our nation is beyond recovery.
If our “PUBLIC SERVANTS” escape these crimes and misdemeanors...then TYRANNY is the rule.
It is now that we must rely on the Dinosaur Media to do it's job. I won't hold my breath.

My guess is that Max knows he’s done! Look for more “long term” RATs to decide to leave office “so they can spend more time with their grandchildren.” It will be a walk in the park except for the fact that we still have the GOPe who have the patent on loosing sure things.

You will see more and more people defending this.
It would be interesting to see a map overlay of all the targeted groups and how they might intersect with Presidential battleground states and close congressional districts. Much can be gleaned by meta analysis.
