When i read the title i thought, “ okay, typical passive voice.” In the paragraph where he talks about shortcuts, he does say, “ ...mistakes we made...”

“I would apologize to the Post, and I would apologize to Mr. Woodward and Mr. Bernstein.” He continued, “We would all have to say that mistakes were made in terms of comments. I was overenthusiastic in my comments about the Post, particularly if you look at them in the context of developments that have taken place.” May 1, 1973; the previous day, White House counsel John Dean and Nixon aides John Ehrlichman and H.R. Haldeman had resigned, as the Watergate scandal progressed.[7]

Crimes, not mistakes! And drop the passive voice; name the culprits.

What did anyone expect for our communists King Obama and his criminals?
To: mandaladon
did they go after any OWS groups? It seems to be another explosive growth was happening then. does anyone know of any organization under OWS banner that applied? This would certainly dismiss the nonpartisan issue.
follow the questionnaire - who developed it and when. I understand it was task force in WASHINGTON. Who was on the task force?
I suggest the committees ask for email that include any mention of the questionnaire (not just tea party and patriot).

'Mistakes were made'Will Sutton: Sure, I made mistakes, at least one. It wasn't a mistake to rob banks since that was where the money was. My only real mistake was getting caught.

Nixon aide Ziegler finally had to own up in April of 1973, when President Nixons top aides, Bob Haldeman and John Ehrlichman, resigned in disgrace.
Mistakes were made, Ziegler said of his previous denials, adopting a phrase that has since been used by other government spokesmen trying to defuse other government scandals.
