Christopher Kelley said he owns a gun for protection, but had never shot anyone until Monday. "Just lucky I guess I had it with me," a sleep deprived Kelley said. "You get it and you always hope you don't have to use it."

A little after midnight he said he and his brother were sleeping on a living room sofa when he heard someone come through the front door. . .

In seconds, Kelley fired five rounds before the intruder could ever pull his trigger. Two bullets went through walls and into the ceiling, while the other three stopped the danger.
