The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals today upheld the Obama Administration’s denial of asylum granted to the Romeike family.
The Romeikes fled Germany in 2008 when they were subjected to criminal prosecution for homeschooling. They were granted asylum in 2010 by Immigration Judge Lawrence O. Burman, but that grant was overturned by the Board of Immigration Appeals in 2012. A three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit heard the Romeikes’ appeal on April 23 in Cincinnati, and issued today’s unanimous decision against the family.

This family went about things the wrong way. If they would have crossed illegally into the United States,refused to speak English, gone on welfare and voted illegally they’d have had a much better chance.

Prayers are fine, but how about DOING SOMETHING?! This family could apply for citizenship. They will have to go back for a time if they lose their appeal, but where are the Limbaugh’s of this world who could sponser them????
Let’s pray they are allowed to take it to the SC. I pray that it can be overturned there.

The judge who first heard their asylum case agreed they were being persecuted. It was the freaking DHS who pursued this deportation.
