Thunder, lightning and rain here (by DFW airport), but no hail or tornados. Looks like the ugly stuff is south of Dallas.)

Severe weather in N.Tx is not a good thing, but every area here needs massive amounts of rain. True. Just wish it didn't arrive all at once like this.

University Park is very good (some complain about them being too good) about setting off the warning sirens —> nothing as of yet.
Radar is pretty scary. Grand Prarie, Cockerell Hill, Mesquite and Sunnyvale look to be taking the brunt of it currently.

The tornado warning for south-west Dallas County has been canceled, and is now a thunderstorm warning for central Dallas County. Should be about one hour duration.

So far it has been quiet here in Keller. Storms passing north and south of us. Just waiting for one more batch of storms to pass by. I can hear thunder in the distance but as of 9:15 we have been very fortunate.

Thanks. Usually we’re the ones in danger . . . tornado alley of the southeast, near Rocket City USA (aka Huntsville AL) and they’re the ones calling me.
