Italy has announced the United States was transferring 200 marines and two planes to its base at Sigonella in Sicily to deploy in Libya in case US diplomats come under attack as they did last year.
Speaking in parliament after leftist MPs complained they had not been told about the deployment, Foreign Minister Emma Bonino said the transfer was "in accordance with bilateral agreements" between Italy and the United States.
"This is a reinforcement for the security of US personnel in Libya or for possible evacuations," she told parliament, adding that 75 marines would arrive first followed by 125 more as well as two additional military planes.

The point on the organizing the two Marine anti-terrorist teams in Rota, that was good to go ahead and stand ’em up. What I find incomprehensible: The first team, it took them 23 hours to go a few hundred miles from Rota to Tripoli. I could go around the world in 23 hours, so that makes absolutely no sense to me.
It isn’t for that. It is to protect the Libyan leadership from the terrorists. That is what i think.

Well, Hillary and 0bama left men to their own devices. Their OWN men. Two bled out over machine guns, but one man had climbed on the roof, in the darkness, painting a target for a drone hit THAT HE EXPECTED.
There was video. There was radio. There were SAT phones.
There were 7 drones overhead. They did NOT turn off their video.
Now you think about that. Under fire. Middle of the night. Risking your life to paint a target. And waiting.
Alone.
The last minutes of these men’s lives must have been sheer hell, feeling abandonned by the people they worked for and the country they vowed to protect.
Tell me the CIA Annex people were those who just sit on their rumps and analyze sh!t. Tell me they didn’t know something was coming. Riiight.
And they were abandonned, too. Some were/are in Walter Reed STILL.
We are supposed to believe politicians or some crap about talking points or wonder where the media reports were/are?
The truth is not about DC. It is about the willingness to deny the force of American military might to support those men, in the country where, just the year prior, 0bama, McCain, Hillary, Panetta, et al, had gone overboard to arm a ‘kinder, gentler’ Al Qaeda. What shiite.
They left those men to be attacked, sodomized and die. Alone.
