Udall, a liberal enviro-radical, is up for re-election in 2014. To my knowledge no Republican candidate has yet declared for the June 2014 primary. As could be expected, he's an opponent of natural resources development (which provides most NM state government revenue), loves big-government programs and the Obama agenda.

"the letter was aimed at potential
misuse of nonprofit tax status by all political organizations"
misuse: Thwarting advancement of leftist power or opposing Obama's re-election
See? It's all in the definitions.

They were discussing this on 770 this AM and folks were pretty steamed. The question is who do we have to run against him? I don’t want to lose Pearce in District 2.

Could this put NM in play for the mid-term? Udall signed on to this letter and it’s very clear what it says. He is complicit in this scandal.

Tom Udall is a perfect liar, and thus a perfect Democrat. Who in New Mexico can beat him?
