RUSH: This Obama comparison to Nixon, you hear it now and then. In fact, it was asked about at the press conference this afternoon with the Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason said, "How do you feel about comparisons by some of your critics of this week's scandals to those that happened under the Nixon administration?"
OBAMA: I'll let you guys engage in those comparisons, and you can go ahead and read the history, I think, and -- and draw your own conclusions. My concern is making sure that if there's a problem in the government, that we fix it. That's my responsibility, and that's what we're gonna do.

Rush is right again. Obama’s administration is tyranny over us, like that of other Communist dictators. Nixon was not a dictator, and by comparison, resigned instead of continuing to drag out the political fire. Looking back, he was honorable for doing so. To look over this president’s last 4+ years, there is NOTHING honorable about his incendiary rhetoric, his behavior, his lavish lifestyle that he flaunts in the face of the most prolonged recession/depression , his race-baiting, his refusal to take RESPONSIBILITY for one iota other than the bagging of Osama bin Laden. IF the average American refuses to see, or cannot see the true spirit of this president, then America will not survive as as. America as it is right now is pretty deplorable, to be honest, but it will get worse. IF obama comes through this unscathed, as Rush was saying, he will be stronger, which means that he will have no qualms about pushing his agenda through. I fear a day that they take my sweet grandchildren from our sons because they are being raised in a Christian family, to be then raised by the state (or gay couples) to make sure they are not racist, bigots, etc. Dear God in Heaven...PLEASE spare our children and grandchildren this fate!

I am shocked they asked Obama about Nixon. Yesterday, Carney was asked about Nixon.
Nixon was nothing like obama. Nixon had more honor, love of country and the Constitution even with all of his faults than any democrat living or dead.

Noam Chomsky praised Nixon as one of the most ‘Progressive President’ and denounced the Obama Administration as Totalitarian because of his CIA ties.
Thirty years later. "Richard Nixon — in many respects the last liberal president." Chomsky wasn't anywhere near so friendly when Nixon was president.
I'd say Obama was more like Carter than Nixon (or Putin or Chavez).

Nixon actually had positive accomplishments. Comparing Ohomo to him is an insult to Nixon. I’ve said all along - he WANTS to be Chavez, he’s just not charismatic enough without his props and sycophants.
