Remembering what they did to Joe the Plumber did anybody think he or they would act any different if they had the power?

We knew they were thugs by the way they treated Joe the Plumber... and a thousand other 'hints' - but the press boys never thought they would be in Joe's shoes... so they pretended it didn't matter.

They ARE in Joe's shoes, WE are, and it's gonna get worse if this abuse of power isn't dealt with...

The Democrats have been exposed. It was also exposed that Chuck the Schmuck , and Al Franken instigated some of these investigations against their enemies. There were others also
including Obama IMO.

But the thing to remember in an impeachment proceeding is that the Senate has a Democrat majority. They aren’t about to allow impeachment of the guy who really should not be there in the first place.

The IRS scandal is overtly criminal but it is a diversion from the real scandal; Bengazi.

I keep hearing people say that, but I don't think that's the case. I believe that the regime is simply so corrupt, and so incompetent, that it was only a matter of time before multiple scandals erupted in overlapping fashion.

There's simply that much criminality and treason occurring at every level of the regime. I'm waiting for some other history-making outrage to fall out of the closet any minute.

It’s Bengazi, not the IRS crimes, that’ll keep Hillary out of the white house. The IRS can be blamed on anyone but not Hillary. Bengazi points to Hillary.

You’re absolutely correct. Resignations and a few random firings are meaningless. This IRS scandal goes to the core of our republic and our liberty and everyone involved with the orders must be dealt with harshly and swiftly. Put a few away for 10-15 years and the culture will begin to change.

And the Benghazi scandal isn't going away.

I agree. But ‘culture’ is precisely what I stated.

‘...time we co-opted it’

Agreed, which is why I say we shouldn’t aim too high. As is becoming patently obvious, 44/2 has been insulated by his minions. Go after the minions and deligitimize the machine. It will have the effect of demoralizing the entire culture that brought ‘it’ into power.

If they go after 44/2 directly, without insiders coming forward we’ll miss, and they’ll laugh all the way to 1600 in ‘16...though I have serious reservations that Republicans are capable of even a basic process to elicit the truth on anything, as it undermines them as well.

To put it bluntly, we’re stupidly asking the government to investigate itself. This is one thing the Founders never thought possible, that all the protections they built in to prevent tyranny would be undermined by our collective complacency.

The Founders of our once great country are looking at us and thinking, "when are they going to start shooting?"

We have embarrassed Jefferson and Madison greatly.
