Boehner said during the election campaign he would not defund ObamaCare, because it is the law of the land.

Boehner said during the election campaign he would not defund ObamaCare, because it is the law of the land.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now that will all change given that the IRS has now proven incapable of being the administrative and enforcement mechanism of the Affordable Health Care Act.

I find it doubtful that Boehner is going to become a strident conservative all of a sudden

This time Boehner has no choice. COnservatib=ves have proven thier case about Obama, prdiction for 5 years that this would be the nexus point in which America must choose enslavement or freedom.

We are now at that point. Either Congress fights Obama as the fascist he is, or the Republic dies.

Thats clear to every Senator and Congressman, on both sides of the aisle. And very soon it will become clear to all of America.

The outcome will mean that we can have either continued free, peaceful government, or internecine warfare in the streets.

Good Read:

Oh, he might go along for a while, and throw wrenches into the works now and then.

The Texas House has a Speaker just like that, GOP supermajority and he lets the Dems have committee chairmanships.

“Why couldn’t the House just defund the ‘enforcement’ aspect of the law. No new monies for the IRS in regard to 0bamaconcare. Just as others have said , the Senate won’t touch this and even if they did, 0 would just veto(with no danger of an override) any bill that crosses his desk that threatens his prized legislation. NO MONIES FOR ENFORCEMENT.”.....

I’m good with that and anything else that stops “Odumbocare”!

Yesterday Congress voted FOR THE 30TH TIME to repeal Odumbocare. What part of “NO” is hard to understand.

The only way I see Odumbocare being stopped once and for all is to pull the purse strings sooooooooo tight it will never see the light of day. (This might be the best way to stop a lot of other stupid ideas/programs as well)

God Bless Michelle Bachmann. She has been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen. If the House REPEALED 0bamacare, THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DEFUND IT. They are responsible for allocating funds, but King 0bama will override them just like he’ll ignore Federal Court rulings that his NLRB recess appointments are UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Just “reject voices” warning of Tyranny. LOL

Defunding is fine in theory but not as easy as everyone here makes it out to be. Obama will try to block and court challenges a certainty.

Plus, once you start defunding laws on the books you can have a runaway train on your hands. The Left could probably defund all border security efforts right now, the votes are probably there between the lefties and the RINOs.

That said, I’m all for anything that blocks Obamacare.

That too would be a fruitless vote as the Senate and WH would shoot it down.

BUMP!

What you have described is the Constitutional DUTY of the House to be a check and balance on an irresponsible Administration of Taxpayer Payer money and debt.

“Why don’t they do something useful, like pass ala carte for cable TV?”

I am so behind THAT idea.

As much as I personally would love the ability to construct my own cable package via ala carte so as to exclude TBS and TNT and CNN, etc. from my cable menu, I am loathe to have the government dictate legislatively what program offerings my cable provider must make available. No principled conservative could support legislation that would dictate ala carte cable tv offerings.

Yes it is symbolic.

What is disgusting is that after a symbolic vote the Republicans will vote to fund it, they are trying to put one over on us.

Need to use this to put Nails in the coffins of certain vulnerable US Senators

For example, Senator Mary Landrieu, D-LA, is in serious hot water over gun control.

Politicizing her vote to support ObamaCare should be a Nail in the coffin for her 2014 re-election

PEOPLE ON FREEREPUBLIC/TeaParty/Conservatives must see this as an opportunity to dump some useless US Senators...

Bush’s fault? Huh? Put down the crack pipe.

I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of many Republican representatives who will vote to repeal AND vote to fund. If that rankles you too bad.
