I remember when Hillary made the Secret Service agents become waiters 10 years ago.

Really? LOL!

As if this administration is not blatantly daring the majority population of the USA to rise up in armed revolution against an unjust and out of control government?

Do you really think anyone even gives a damn what “the libs” or “the conservatives” say about anything anymore?

We have already lost our Republic.
Didn't you get the official memo? No?
Ask your local Representative or Senator for a copy.

Yeah, I watched the Marine try his best not to publically reprimand/embarrass his worthless CINC. I was not a Marine, so I can’t state what the man should have done.

He should have done exactly what he did. To do less would dishonor the Marine (s). To do as asked brought dishonor where it belonged on the poser in chief.

The only time a similarly stupid CINC came near me, and my USAF peers, we were all securely locked down. Lest any of us “acted unwisely”. That was during the Carter years....

I'm wondering if the servicemen of today have such "protection". I hope they do. Yes, being on a lockdown, IMO, is a form of understanding and protection.

I've only known two Marines personally. Both fine men of different eras.

My brother was Army..Vietnam.

I also know one Air Force vet..one of the most intelligent men I've ever met - when did you serve? No matter the era, I'm sure you would have done what was right, even to your own personal distaste.

Valerie Jarrett ‘mistook’ a four-bird in uniform for a waiter and told him to bring her another drink a year or so ago.

I did indeed do what was “right”.

I honored my oath of enlistment, and accepted that the UCMJ was a logical control mechanism over a dual edged sword.

Crafted over hundreds of years to soberly reign in both the civilians who could direct wars, and the trained warriors who would wage it.

The weakest point has always been civilian elected politicians.
Hense the ever present opt-out clauses regarding unlawfull orders.
Posse Comitatus is one such clause.
Others were added after WWII, and no excuses for obeying unlawful orders of superior officers or civilians is granted to anyone under the jurisdiction of the UCMJ.

This country has never endured a military “coup”.
Yet.

From the deepest part of my heart, I thank you for your service..

And no, we have yet to endure a military coup. But, there has been a coup nonetheless.

S far, it has been bloodless.

After the ceremony one of the kids in our choir implied that the Marine standing in the rain holding the unbrella had gotten a raw deal. Luckily one of our members is an old Marine and explained to him and the rest of the younger members that it was an honor to do this for a recipient of the highest medal for valor at the Marine Corps most iconic battle.

The context seems to suggest that the prohibition is intended to be upon carrying an umbrella for sheltering oneself, not for someone else who is non-marine. Still why didn’t Barack have Plugs do it for him or sumfin. It just looks sissy.

The Marine Corp(sic) Manual, which is the bible for all soldiers(sic) serving specifically states that the soldiers(sic) uniform dress code

Corps, Marines, Marines

The reporting of Martosko and Nye is as pathetic as the lack of character and integrity of that POS Soetoro.

I can’t help seeing this as a metaphor.

This Marine does the right thing, maybe, I’m sure, he’s inwardly gagging, but he does it, because it is the right thing, a good man, a good marine.

Isn’t that what we are all doing?

We are following the rules. Because it is the right thing. We vote, though we know fraud abounds, we follow the law, even as we discover the law is corrupt.

We may want to slap someone silly - but we don’t .

we are on the edge to call to arms.

He’s honoring Barack’s post, not Barack.

I’m not certain the Marine code is supposed to mean a bar upon what he did, i.e. holding an umbrella to shelter someone who is not a Marine. Still it does look like a raw in-your-face to the service man who is obviously not wearing a raincoat.

Saying he’s asking to be (a-word) because he had a Marine hold an umbrella is insane.

And frankly, we ought to honor Barack’s post by impeaching him.

The point has nothing to do with whether the Marine did or did not have his own raincoat.....,a bit of rain never hurt a real man!

But mr pansy boy, Obama, thought it would look powerful to have a Marine shelter his pitiful ass...I bet he'd hate to know a mere peasant like myself, thinks less of him than I would a roach in my cabinet.

The difference in garb really rubs it in. If this were GWB he’d have a raincoat or sumfin on himself.
