Theyre not playing ball.
The IRS softball team has canceled their Friday game with Sen. John Cornyns staff, amid the still-evolving scandal of targeting conservative organizations.
The game has not been rescheduled.
By the way, the IRSs team name? The Cheetahs.
Cornyn (R-Texas) posted the cancellation announcement on Facebook Thursday morning:
"The Cheetahs" - You can't make this stuff up.
I wonder if it was Cornyn’s idea to punish conservative non-profits. He certainly would sympathize.
Cheatahs neva win.
lolz
Turns out they prefer to play Hardball.
They had to cancel because all the publicity. The plan was to threaten the GOP team with audits unless they intentionally lost the game. Now they don’t have time to do it properly so they are cancelling the game.
The IRS guys are either working on their resignation letters or their Congressional deposition notes.
A softball game at this time would be just too taxing. The IRS has filed for an extension.
I wonder how much taxpayer money goes to these softball games?
Looks like Obama can depend on low information voters to ignore his scandals. I just checked the Yahoo search engine, and the top Internet trends have nothing related to ObamaGate. Instead Lindsey Lohan tops the charts and inmate sues Taco Bell seems more important than worrying about being targeted for IRS audits. Here’s a story about Taco Bell: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/16/gary-cole-inmate-taco-bell-doritos-locos_n_3286907.html
Good ones!
Revolt is coming.
Is there a way we can address that? Essentially bumping it, by searching for, say, Benghazi, or IRS?
Hopeful look,
and blessings,
Tatt
The GOP Senators would’ve just sat there and looked at Strike Three anyway.
“Guess they needed an extension,”
